MY HONEST REVIEW AS A BBA STUDENT AT AMITY UNIVERSITY GWALIOR

MOST OF THE FACULTY MEMBERS ARE VERY SUPPORTIVE AND TEACH WELL.MANY PROFESSORS ARE HIGHLY QUALIFIED,INCLUDING PHD HOLDERS,WHICH HELPS IN BETTER CONCEPTUAL UNDERSTANDING OF THE SUBJECTS.
THE CAMPUS INFRASTUCTURE IS WELL MAINTAINED. CLASSROOMS ARE EQUIPPED WITH PROJECTORS AND AIR CONDITIONING, WHICH MAKE THE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT COMFORTABLE AND MORE INTERACTIVE.
THE OVERALL ACADEMIC IS DISCILPINED AND FOCUSED ON STUDIES, WHICH IS HELPFUL FOR STUDENTS WHO GENUINELY WANT TO LEARN AND BUILD A STRONG FOUNDATION IN MANAGEMENT STUDIES.

Dislikes

BUS FACILITY ISSUED EVEN IF CLASSES END EARLY AROUND 2-3 PM BUSES DO NOT OPERATE BEFORES 5:20PM WHICH CREATES PROBLEMS FOR DAY SCHOLARS.THERE IS NO PROPER ALTERNATIVE TRANSPORT PROVIDED DURING THIS GAP.
THE UNIVERSITY IS VERY STRICT.IF STUDENTS GET FREE BEFORE BEFORE 3PM,THEY MUST FILL AN OUTPASS,GET IT SIGNED BY THE MENTOR AND STAMPED WHICH IS TIME-CONSUMING AND UNNECESSARY.
THE BEHAVIOR OD SECURITY STAFF IS OFTEN RUDE.

THE ADMISSION PROCESS IS VERY SIMPLE AND HASSLE-FREE.STUDENTS CAN DIRECTLY APPLY THROUGH THE UNIVERSITY OFFICIAL WEBSITE BY FILLING IN THEIR PERSONAL AND ACADEMIC DETAILS. AFTER COMPLETING THE APPLICATION FORM, REQUIRED DOCUMENTS NEED TO BE UPLOADED ONLINE. ONCE THE DOCUMENTS ARE VERIFIED, STUDENTS CAN PROCEES WITH THE FEE PAYMENT, AND THE ADMISSION IS CONFIEMD. OVERALL, THE ENTIRE PROCESS IS SMOOTH,TRANSPARENT, AND DOES NOT INVOLVE ANY COMLPICATED STEPS.

Amity Gwalior has great academics!

Infrastructure wise we are not the greatest but academics wise we are.
9 to 5 are the classes or the university timings and most days we have to be in the university for that long. Hence our practice for a corporate employee begins in the university.
Our university main or the large focus is always on academics.

Dislikes

In making academics strict a very strict attendance policy too now is in place for us.

Admission:

Admission were based on ranking in CLAT. However our total law batch size in 2018 was of around 200-220 students. Law wasn't so popular then and therefore admission were granted to all who applied. Things have changed now as the seats have increased but so is the competition as well.

My Best College life At Amity University

Likes

I just love the college infrastructure and the environment.
The supportive faculty members and mentor.

Dislikes

The attendance system is very strict and there is mandatory to have 75% attendance in each subject.

Admission:

I applied to a few private universities in Madhya Pradesh and Odisha for B. tech CSE. I got confirmed admission in Amity University and ITM, but I chose Amity because of its better infrastructure, placement records, and industry-oriented curriculum.

I choose this college because this college have good campus and placement. No , other colleges rejected me because I am not applying another college. The admition process is applying online otherwise visit campus go to admition department fill. Form and submit fee.

PERFECT university for your career

Likes

Infrastructure of the campus is very good
Adaptable environment and the faculty's are highly qualified and very supportive
The ratio of boys and girls according to me is 60:40 . 60 for boys and 40 for girls.

Dislikes

It's a 9 to 5 classes . The whole day is consumed
75% attendance is must in every subject or else you'll be debarred from the exams and leads to back paper

Admission:

I choosed this university because amity is one of best universities and named universities in the world they also provide students to study in abroad also. The university provide placement in every field and various named company come to give jobs to students with good packages in hand

Everything you need to know about Amity University gwalior

Likes

Internship program provided for 2 months in even semesters after completing semester, for 2 months ,after completing we get a certificate for observation
Infrastructure , well maintained equipments and surrounded by nature
French language is mandatory language to learn in order to get different exposure

Dislikes

Canteen food is average and little bit pricey
Fests are organised but not many........ majority functions happens only at department level
Trips are organised but In very few departments

Admission:

1.) I preferred amity University because of its scholarship program. 2.) I didn't get any rejection because I didn't try anywhere else 3.) Admission is approved only on 12th marks exams and must secured above 50% percentag above . And admission procedure is very smooth only one day it takes

In my college I love to eat food in canteen because the food there was very good and tasty
And I also like sports department of our college and grounds of our college is also very good ..
I like the greenery of our college and environment was also very nice and feel like nature friendly

Dislikes

I don't like outside atmosphere of my college the road was broken there and very polluted
I also don't like local students of my college they are very bully
And In my branch there are very less girls which is about 9/54 in my class ... This is Also very disgusting

I have no jee criteria and don't have good marks to get enrolled in tier 1 or 2 colleges so I have very less options are left which is some tier 3 colleges which are providing good courses to his students... And in my city there are only two colleges (tier 3) which is itm University and Amity University so I preferred Amity University because it is more good than itm because of its infrastructure and placement cell .. and as you know that there is no tough criteria for getting a private college so I get this college by giving a simple test which is about 60minutes and have 100 easy questions of pcm (my 12th course) .. I know my marks and there is no chance to get the other tier 1,2 colleges so I don't applied in other colleges..

Campus life and the campus was really beautiful
Extra Curricular activities that were conducted
Classrooms and other social activities and educational activities that were held for personal growth of every student

Dislikes

Way of teaching of faculty was a bit less understanding initially as there was a change in staff frequently

Admission:

I applied for BVP Pune and other colleges in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh and other private colleges and I chose this college then other as it was a known private university amongst the other private university in the field. And it was reasonable compared to other private universities and it saved my rest expenses also like going to another city living there etc.

Amity Gwalior is amazing!!

Likes

Campus is located at the outskirts and therefore it's quite peaceful inside the campus.
Classrooms, canteens, computer labs, libraries and all are air-conditioned.
Modern, research based and practical education is imparted here.

Dislikes

To go out of the campus in case of emergency, we have to have a gatepass which we get after filling a long form.

Admission:

Amizone portal which is of the university is how you have to apply for admission. An admission form of 2000 rupees has to be submitted and soon you get a call to attend the campus. At campus counselling, verification and all is done the same day and a few days later our i cards are issued and admissions are final.

Firstly, there is no cutoff system to secure a seat at Amity University, Gwalior. Hence, there is no specific cutoff for getting admission to BCA at Amity. However, there are eligibility criteria with an entrance test which you need to clear in order to get admission.

You need to have a minimum of 60% aggregate in 10+2.
You need to qualify for the common aptitude test AMCAT which is basically an entrance test.
Interview with the concerned departments’ faculty.

Thus, make sure you have secured enough marks in your 10+2. If you meet this criterion, it's time to prepare well for the aptitude test which you need to pass in order to secure yourself a seat in the preferred field.
