National University of Advanced Legal Studies is a Uni-disciplinary university located in Kochi that offers a diverse range of legal education at undergraduate & postgraduate level. The courses offered by the university are BA LLB, LLM, PG Diploma, and Ph.D.
BA LLB is a 5 years program offered by the University under undergraduate education. Whereas LLM is a one-year long PG course. The University offers LLM programs in two specializations.
For BA LLB, candidates are required to pass 10+2 examinations with valid marks. For LLM, a Bachelor's degree in the relevant field is compulsory.
All the admissions at NUALS are strictly entrance-based. The selection of the UG & PG courses will be done on the basis of the marks of CLAT (centralized exam for law). Kerala students have a reservation of 49% across all categories.

Selection Criteria
The selection is done on the basis of marks scored in CLAT.
NUALS offers masters degrees in law as well as in PG & diploma courses at postgraduate level. This master’s course is of the duration of 1 year. The selection of the candidates in this LL.M course is done on the basis of the marks obtained by a student in the CLAT.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidate has to pass the 5-year Integrated B. A. LL.B. (Hons.) Degree of the NUALS/any other examination equivalent with at least of 55 % marks. 50% for SC/ST candidates.
Selection Criteria
On the basis of marks scored in CLAT.
The selection of candidates is based on the performance by the candidates from the CLAT exam. In order to do that, the candidate has to apply for the CLAT examination. To apply for CLAT the candidate has to follow certain steps.
Note: The application fee is INR 4000 for general, OBC, SAP category & INR 3500 for SC/ST. you can pay through debit card/credit card or bank transfer.
NRI/foreign nationals/NRI sponsored candidates can apply by downloading the form. After filling up the form along with the fees, the candidate can submit the form by personal visit or can post it on the following address.

Note: - Those who have passed the UGC-NET lectureship examination or if they are teaching in any college/university in Kerala or working in Quasi govt. /any govt. institution which is recognized by NUALS, and the candidate must be working 5 years continuously as a permanent worker.

It is a prestigious college in Kerala to do your law degree. The admission is based on the ranking in the entrance test for a post-graduate law degree,i.e CLAT PG. Allotment to 20 national law Universities in India will be done by the consortium according to your rank and college preferences.
Admission into the University is through the CLAT exam, an all-India exam. Securing an AIR less than 1000 would guarantee a seat at NUALS through the All India quota. There are separate reservations for Kerala State students, SC, ST, Persons with disabilities, etc.
We get admission only through JEE held every year.Any 12th pass candidate can give JEE exam and can get admission in NIT only after he pass the JEE exam and apply for JOSAA Counsellling.JEE , its a 3 hrs exam consisting of 90 question , 30 from Physics, Maths and chemistry each. Both 11th and 12th syllabus is asked. it basically checks ones's speed and conceptual knowledge but not so deep. question are of easy to moderate level.
The kind of exposure given is very valuable. The exams and academic activities are conducted regularly and results are published on time. We get to know people from all over India and get rich in experience.
National University of Advanced Legal Studies provides with ba llb course to the students who have passed 10 +2 or equivalent from any recognized Indian Board and have given CLAT entrance exam. Based on merit, the students will be called for the interview.
I am a law enthusiast and always aimed to become a legal expert. After clearing the CLAT examination, I applied for counseling of colleges and got this one. I am glad that I got this college. As it is one of the best colleges for the law.
When I completed 12th Standard I was searching for the best college to proceed with my studies. I picked up this college due to its quality education and course curriculum. The admission process of this college is quite simple. It requires your CLAT examination marks and 12th mark sheet.
The admissions for PG diploma course are done on the basis of merit of the marks that you scored in your undergraduation. law as a stream has always interested me and therefore i decided to go for this course.
Admissions for the PhD course are held on the basis of an entrance exam called the departmental admission test or DAT. The candidate must have score 55% in his under graduation in my case I pass the DAT with flying colours and got admission.
The admission to LLM degree is done based on the performance of the student in the CLAT examination. Students who have completed the BA LLB from the National University of Advanced Legal Studies or an equivalent degree would be eligible for the admisison.
