Yeah it's very good for class room is great and lab is workable we have onam programs and xmas, arts day, sports day, youth festival, freshers day its good there is two clubs nss and nature club and good friends
The attitude of the teachers were very rude but their way of teaching is very nice and we can easily score good marks in the exams.
The college have job placements in channels like asianet, and have some institutes like brilliant, also the channel karikku.we have internships at newschannels and other institutes and may get permanent jobs if they like our work.

Dislikes

Facilities are very bad theory is no very good infrastructure facilities provided
The distance from hostel to department is too large and its so difficult to walk
It's a very poor system that's made to waste the time of students as they cram everything from practicals and theory, leaving no space for real life applications .

Life at SH

Likes

Campus is great. Lakeview make the main campus attractive
Computer lab is great. They have 2 computer lab in the main campus
Gender neutral dress code. Unity is great

Dislikes

After covid program conducted by college is low
Behavior of some teachers are not even acceptable
Sh have 3 campuses. And they treat 3 campuses in different ways.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually my course is self financed. And it cost arround 245500 for the course for 3 years. Bca is a best course. The computer lab provided by our department is great. Buy the cost is little bit high.

Good college for studying btech

Likes

Location of the college is in a village area , providing a peaceful atmosphere
Availability to a large amount of resources for learning
The teaching and non teaching staff is well qualified

Dislikes

No private bus from palai direct to college suitable with class time
Lack of provision of financial support from management for conducting programs on campus , this may change in future

Placement Experience:

There were a large amount of placement options. From companies all around india. Most of them offer a package of 2 lakhs per annum. Some of them even for 5 lakhs per annum. Jobs at core field offered doesn't pay much initially. But after joining and getting necessary experience you can get a nice package. 60% of students gets palced. Some of them consider higher studies.

St. Teresa's College - Yes or No?

Likes

Numerous oppportunities to grow and interact with various kinds of people
Lively college with events and competitions every week
Placements opportunities for specific courses are definitely a plus point

Dislikes

No campus area and conjusted overall. Classes are in shift timings due to lack of space
College hostel is unnecessarily strict with no leeway
College life can somwtimes feel like a school or tuition centre if other enjoyment outside is not explored

Placement Experience:

Placements are available from the 5th semester. 100% placement is achieved during some years. Thr number and type of companies that come in fpr placemets differ every year year. Companies like TCS, Accenture, Deloitte are a frequent recruiter

Beautiful Campus. Environmental friendly. We have a great library which greatly helped in our academics
The Campus provide us many seminars and webinars which were really helpful in academics as well as our career.
We had the best faculties who were always ready to guide us in all time.

Dislikes

Needs Improvement in infrastructure facilities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our Curriculum included theories that were both old and contemporary. It also included the current scenario in our society. Apart from the curriculum, we had several seminars which boosted our knowledge in the subject. However, a slight upgrade is needed in the curriculum.

St. Xavier's College, The Game Changer Of My Life

The college have a solid faculty and management which will guide you and teach you very effectively as well as they provide individual attention
The college campus have a every facilities and oppurtunity. Also the safety too.

Dislikes

The campus have only have limited space. But it's not too small. Yet there no great campus surrounding to explore there
The management used to minimize programmes for extra classes. It was years back.But nowadays it's sorted.

Placement Experience:

For Our Course, reputed ad agencies and medias approached our college and many students got the oppurtunities and Job. My plan was to pursue law, that's why I didn't opted for the placement. Otherwise they provide incredible oppurtunities with decent packages for a fresher.

Course Curriculum Overview:

BCom taxation is a very good course which provides a large variety of job opportunities. The college provides the best quality education. Teachers are well trained and experienced. Exams are conducted at an internal of a month with a standard difficulty level.

The college provides great infrastructure facilities in terms of library ,labs and canteen
The college's comes with different programs and celebrations in a good way

Dislikes

The college should provide friendly teachers and teacher's who can work with students to produce their maximum output
The quality of education and teacher's in the self department should be improved.
The college is accredited with NAAC A++ .

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement from 5th semester.In 2024 no companies were visited the college and there was not any placement drive conducted in college.Any way a small percentage of students got their placements.The average package is about 220000 per annum.

The hostel facilities is good. The studio and other infrastructure is also good enough
Workshops provided by the college is really helpful and also we get good assistance while applying for internships and all.

Dislikes

Semester breaks can be a bit longer. It just not give enough time for the students to take a break

Course Curriculum Overview:

As the faculties are practicing architects, we are introduced to relevant methods of problem solvings. In terms of climate, structure and all we are introduced to new softawares every semester. Also every semester has a major project that is based on a real problem within a real site.

Environment friendly beautiful campus,good infrastructure.
Qualified faculties and laboratories and research centres are well equipped.
The most important is there is a placement cell that provide placements to top companies

Dislikes

Class rooms are not that well facilitated
Eventhough it's a green campus but it's not neat that much
Washroom rooms facilities are poor and neat

There is a problem regarding the exam ,as Union Christian College is an aided college affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University,Kottayam the exams are conducted as per university guidelines .Most of the time exams are rescheduled.

The faculty is really helpful,they are eager to help students
The infrastructure provided in the college is satisfactory.There are good air conditioned labs and the teachers are helpful
The college follows the KTU Curriculum,and gives pdf notes to students to study.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the third year onwards. More students get placed by the end of the fourth year .There are many companies like TCS ,Infosys etc that visited our college . Average package of 4 lakh and highest package of 20 lakh.Almost 80 percent of students of our college is getting placed .I plan to pursue my master after graduation.
