Yeah it's very good for class room is great and lab is workable we have onam programs and xmas, arts day, sports day, youth festival, freshers day its good there is two clubs nss and nature club and good friends
The attitude of the teachers were very rude but their way of teaching is very nice and we can easily score good marks in the exams.
The college have job placements in channels like asianet, and have some institutes like brilliant, also the channel karikku.we have internships at newschannels and other institutes and may get permanent jobs if they like our work.

Dislikes

Facilities are very bad theory is no very good infrastructure facilities provided
The distance from hostel to department is too large and its so difficult to walk
It's a very poor system that's made to waste the time of students as they cram everything from practicals and theory, leaving no space for real life applications .

Best college at Ernakulam

Likes

Good facility, friendly facilities, no issues
All are friendly , doubt clearances are perfect
No discrimination, no ragging, no violence

Dislikes

Doesn’t have a proper ac lab , facilities
are minimal , not high tech , does not have
New technology, lack of presentations and technology

The college has a really good infrastructure.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is moderately diffcult in terms of syllabus. But still it is manageable if studied consistently.The course has open applications in warehouse and airport, shipyard areas. The course is wonderful and the deprtment really interesting.

The atmosphere of college is ecofriendly.
The college is endowed with many facilities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course provides many areas of employment. The pharmacy companies, the biotech research laboratories are some of the most payed working areas. The exams are moderately dufficult but are manageable if studied consistently.

Very good course with great opportunity.along with course they also provide interships for practical sessions.exams are correctly kanaged and there is no lag.the notes are available so no tension for the exams

The cochin college college of nightmare

Likes

Sports industry need to be improve but the management of the college do not provide enough facilities for the students
I'm a BA english student I also support the juniors in my college for their studies
The teaching methods are really good the teachers are perfect

Dislikes

The college is surrounded with lots of students that uses drugs
The management staff do not provide enough funding
The martial arts support in sports industry are poor

Sacred Heart College - my alma matter

Likes

Faculty - they are great, and are always available to help you solve your doubts.
Events - the college has a lot of events, every week there is some or the other kind of events that is held in the campus.
Culture - the students come from all walks of life, making the college very diverse.

Dislikes

Infrastructure - the college infrastructure lacks a ground, so it's difficult to play sports without proper help.
Syllabus - the syllabus gives more importance to theory rather than pratical knowledge.
Bus service - there is only 1 bus for the college, so students have to find other means to come to college.

Placement Experience:

From semester 5,companies start coming to recruit Till now around 10 companies have come and around 90 students have been placed. The highest package was 5.5 lakhs pa, and the average comes around 3.5 lakhs pa. I am also sitting for placements, and the college helps you prepare for the GD and interviews

College Campus is Good and student friendly
Extra curricular activities like youth festival association inauguration etc are going good
Workshops and conferences with resource persons from various authorities like IUCAA,VSSC,CUSAT and ISRO

Dislikes

Overall Department co-operation is not good
Frequent examinations are conducted in a semester.
Do not have girls hostel inside college.

Placement Experience:

Last year students are eligible for campus placements.Placement is for banks and some technical companies.The recruiters are Solar,I tellipaat,key value,HDFC bank ,icici ,Infosys ,epi , magi , iris, Kotak, focus edumatics etc.In the year of 2023-24 around 134 students got selected all are from commerce field .After my MSc I plan to crack gate ,net and earn a PhD in astrophysics and related fields. Also trying to get a job .

Honest review about SH college: academic, campus and beyond

One of the main attraction of my college was it's infrastructure. It is a beautiful campus. Students can enjoy their college life with an outstanding atmosphere with Lakeview, college ground, the birds and fishes.
Another attraction would be the course curriculum. They provide new and innovative courses. For instance mine was a triple major course with relevance for Computer Science, Mathematics and Statistics.
The faculty was the best in our department. Every teacher were helpful and very efficient. They used engage with students daily for their academic development as well as personal development

Dislikes

One thing I disliked about my college was the restriction of entering campus after 6 pm. Students need to leave from college premises after 5.
Another would be the girls hostel rules and restrictions. Some of my friends were having many issues regarding the hostel curfew. They need to get consent from the pareta inorder to make th students got out.
Then about the girls attire in college campus. There were many restrictions regarding girl' dressing such as no sleeveless etc

Placement Experience:

Placements at Sacred Heart College are quite promising and focus on equipping the student with the skill set for employment. Normally, a candidate may get eligible for campus placement after fifth semester , course-wise. Several reputed companies visit the campus for recruitment, such as TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Deloitte, etc.and offer roles in data analyst, software developer, marketing associate, etc.The highest package in recent years has been around ?10 LPA, while the average package ranges between ?3-5 LPA, depending on the company and job profile. About 80% of the students get campus placements, and others go for higher studies or start entrepreneurship. In case campus placement is not available for specific programs, the college facilitates career counseling and internships and provides skill development programs to improve employability. After my graduation, I would like to go for higher studies, a specific industry, business, etc. using the knowledge and experience acquired at Sacred Heart College.

Life at st stephens college,Uzhavoor,Kerala.

Likes

The teachers were all really good. They knew how to handle the students and how each of them should be approached according to their language skills.The college conducted various activities for the children to improve their speaking abilities.
The overall ambience of the college was nice because of the geographical characteristics of the place in which the college rested.The place was really calm and the students had a good time studying there.
The college arranged collabrative programmes and competitions with other colleges.This helped the children in interacting with other students of colleges from all around kerala.

Dislikes

The college didnt hold enough programmes to satisfy the students expectations.
The number of students were very low because the college didn't offer any attractive courses

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the course mainly to improve my language skills and also to peraue a carreer in teaching.The real world application of the curriculum is not really great because i studies ba ebhlish language and literature. Surely my language and talking skills have improved a lot.I think that the management should try yo arrange some small classes on how to face the real world while persuing bachelors. This would help the children a lot. The exams did not come frequently.There was alwaya time to prepare for the exams and according to me the exams were quite simple.

Ambience, Vibe, Teaching capability, Friends
Social life, various sports events and cultural fests being organised
Atmosphere- since the college is located in the hills of Idukki, the climate makes it a perfect place to study without any distractions like the cities.

Dislikes

No ambulance facility inside the college incase of any emergencies
Free time upto 5:30 pm only daily, Classes get over by 1:30

Placement Experience:

Students from 5th semester are eligible for campus placements. EY,Delloite,Accenture, TCS, GICE, Sutherland have visited and highest offer was from Delloite for 6.5LPA, followed by Accenture- 3.3LPA, EY- 3.15LPA, and the remaining companies offered an average package of 2.75LPA. Highest package- Delloite- only for proffesional studies students of Bcom(CA,ACCA)- 6.5LPA. Average package- 2.75LPA. I am uncertain of the exact number but around 65% of students have been placed in companies from my course. After getting the degree i plan to work for a few years and complete my MBA from a prestigious institute.
