KUFOS Ph.D Physical Oceanography is offered as 3 Years Full Time program. The minimum eligibility criteria for Ph.D is Post Graduation with 55% + NTA. The total fees for KUFOS Ph.D Physical Oceanography in 2025 is ₹ 2.73 Lakhs for the complete course duration, which includes total tuition fees of ₹ 2.1 Lakhs. Earlier, the fees in 2024 - 2025 for Ph.D Physical Oceanography was ₹ 1.4 Lakhs.

Eligibility Criteria
- Master’s degree in the respective/related discipline recognized by Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies with 55% marks (for SC/ST students, relaxation as per the regulation).
- The admission to all Ph.D programmes except under the Faculty of Fisheries Science will be done through the Common Entrance Examinations conducted by KUFOS. NTA score (ICAR/AICE-JRF/SRF (Ph.D - All India Competitive Examination) will be considered for the admission to Ph.D programmes under the Faculty of Fisheries Science.
