University College the heart of Trivandrum

Fees and Financial Aid:

In the admission process i paid amount of 650 something for university and 300 for allotment. Then in college i have no reservation and concession so i paid full fee. It is about 3000 in 1st year and 2800 something in 2nd year. And along with it 4000 as PTA fund 600 as caution deposit and 500 as college development fund. Regarding all these i need to pay examination fee of amount close to 1500 per semester. As i know the students who have e grantz only needed to pay the caution deposit, pta fund, college development fund and the fee to university rest all are not needed. There are certain scholarships which granted by both central and state govt... i didn't have any regarding fee concession but i get aspire research fellowship.

There was an admission fee of 12,000rs when I joined; apart from that, there is no other fee every year. We need to pay for exam registration, which will be nearly 1k. Scholarship is offered based on merit. There is a grant offered on the basis of reservation. Those who avail grant need not pay for exam registration.

The Life of Arts College

Dislikes

College is not having much courses as interdisciplinary studies are not having that kind of possibilities.

Fees and Financial Aid:

I got admission into the college based on merit (marks of graduation). The fee for the programme was approximately 10000 rupees for two years. The class had only 15 students. The teachers are so friendly and kind. They will help you for all your academic and non academic activities.

At the time of admission one need pay a fee of arpund 9000 which includes admission fee, PTA fee and other fees. For MA English Language and literature course yearly fees is around 2500. Various scholarships are available like egrantz, for fishermen community and others, those with any scholarship need not have to pay the fee

I Will paid semester wise .. one semester registration fees 3000..exam fees 2000 rupees ..during sc ,st categories there is scholarship or e_grants are available ... So sc ,st categories registration fees returned after admission ...so 3000 rupees returned sc st categorie students.

Courses provided in college as per the university guidelines. Syllabus oriented teaching, the role of various clubs, associations, PTA, non teaching staffs were also appreciable.

Dislikes

Unfair fee structure on caste basis made me feel uncomfortable attimes.

Not any scholorship got for me in my education period. I got admission in merit allotment in college. So that I paid only the fees as per the university rules and guidelines. Eventhough i belong to the general community i need to oay the full amount of university fees when my colleague who belong to a backward caste paid only minimal amount around 100rs for writing the university exams.

University College : Review - Pro's, Con's and everything in between

Fees and Financial Aid:

During the time of admission I had to paid 3500 rupees as PTA fund, 500 rupees for caution deposit and 700 as course fecourse fee. I'm eligible for E- grants scholarship so all other expenses are covered by the scholarship scheme. The student so do not have scholarship have to pay 8000 Rupees per year. All expenses during the period of studying will be covered under the scholarship scheme.

To publish exam results they take long time.

Here fees they provide are very affordable per semester they charge 3170 rs only for the exam registration you want to pay extra fee at the time of exam that cost per paper 150 rs. For financially backward students they provide fee concession.

This college doesn't provide any scholarship or recruitments. The fees they ask is comparable to that of government colleges(excluding their self financing college). Greatly affordable fees. Pupil are asked to pay fees each semester.

Yes, Kerala University offers BA in Political Science to the students. Admission to the course is done on the basis of marks secured in the 10+2 class level board examination.
