Ques. Is Tamil at Plus Two level mandatory to apply for BA Tamil at Kerala University?
Ans. Tamil at the Plus Two level is not a mandatory eligibility requirement for admission to BA Tamil at Kerala University. The general eligibility is a pass in the Higher Secondary Examination (HSE/VHSE/CBSE/ISC) or an equivalent examination. However, the entrance examination syllabus for BA Tamil is based on Plus Two level Tamil Language and Literature, so students who have studied Tamil at the Plus Two level will have a significant advantage. Students from other streams can still apply but should prepare the Plus Two Tamil syllabus independently before appearing for the entrance test.
