We have internship in our own hospital. This is a compulsory internship programme suggested under the curriculum by the NMC. Internship is really useful in shaping you as a doctor. Since the pateitn load in the hospital is high, internship period helps in upgrading previoously acquired competencies. and skills.

It is not exactly internship, but we have industrial visits, expert talks, and seminars for the students. This time, its in THERMO-FISHER, Bangalore. The expert talks are by leading scientists from labs and industries from across the country. The projects provided to the students are also very relevant.

The one-month internship at Amrita Hospital's Accounts Section, arranged by the college, offered an invaluable learning experience despite being unpaid. This opportunity allowed students to gain practical insights into the daily workings of a professional accounting department within a reputed institution. Interns were exposed to various aspects of financial management, including bookkeeping, invoice processing, and financial reporting. The program also included hands-on training with accounting software, ensuring students developed technical skills alongside theoretical knowledge. Furthermore, interns had the chance to assist in GST-related filings and audit preparations, which proved instrumental in bridging the gap between classroom learning and industry practices. The mentorship provided by the hospital’s accounts team was a highlight, as they patiently guided interns through complex tasks while fostering a supportive work environment. The college’s coordination with the hospital was seamless, ensuring a smooth onboarding process and clear communication throughout the internship. Although the absence of a stipend might be a drawback for some, the comprehensive exposure and skill-building opportunities made this internship a worthwhile experience. It successfully enhanced students’ confidence and prepared them for future roles in finance and accounting. In conclusion, this internship exemplified the college’s commitment to providing meaningful industry exposure to its students.

The internship is starts from the last semester. The internship has stipend we get money when we are working many companies are offering interships. They will give us a project oru oru we should submit a project in last term of our intership

I am not so aware of the details of the intership as am a first year student. but am sure that they provide pretty good interships with a decent stipend. there are many scholars who come daily and do their works.

The college offers internship opportunities as a part of the B.Des Communication Design program to help students gain practical experience. However, the support in finding internships is limited, and students are often encouraged to search for opportunities independently. While the internships provide valuable hands-on experience and the chance to build a professional portfolio, the process can be competitive and challenging without proper guidance. Establishing stronger industry connections and offering structured support would make these opportunities even more effective in preparing students for their future careers.

Amrita is giving opportunities in good companies such as Cipla, sun pharma, Johnson and Johnson,etc.The stipend depends upon your roles offered to you. I think one will have a minimum stipend of 15,000/- and above.

In Our college six months internship is provide by a wide variety of companies like Sun Pharma , Cipla,and other industries which run by government which offer interships with stipend after the completion of the course

The company that are offering roles are Sun Pharma The roles are like in the r and d department. There are also placements in hospital pharmacy also provided by the college. This can be in Amrita hospital or any other hospitals which they have tie ups with .

There are many companies which provide placement opportunities for our students and packages are quite good we can choose from industrial or clinical opportunities. For example like Sun Pharma , Cipla and many more .
