MDU Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I had chosen this course because I think civil engineering gives us a big opportunity in the sense of money and personality development. There is 1 teacher in 15 student means the faculty-student ratio is 1:15. All the staff of the teaching department are highly educated. They all Postgraduate at this university. The exam of our university are mainly in June July and the difficulty level of the exam is not much hard but it's average

Our course Civil Engineering always gives less placement but plus point is that it gives max govt job opportunity so I have selected this course. The faculty-student ratio is 1:10 which is quite enough for me and all the teachers and staff are enough qualified most of them are PhD. They always help student in their studies. Term exam didn't happen timely and you know what coronavirus is the main reason behind it and it was a little difficult for me to passed.

Students of 7th semester are eligible for the placement.There are several companies who have visited for the placement in our university some of them are L&T, Wipro, Amazon, Shree cement etc. The highest packed which was placed by the student is 12lakh and the average package is 4 lakh per annum. 80 Percent of the students got placement in decent companies. Placements at SAITM are great and there are very reputed companies that come to provide placements to the students. Reputed companies like HCL, INFOSYS, AMAZON, FLIPKART, TCS etc. have been past recruiters of Saitm. Infat at SAITM, we have a separate placement cell that handles all the matters related to the training and placement of students.

Training and Placement Department is supportive Enough if you want to apply for off campus jobs or 6 months internship Provided they I well validate the Existence of the company for off campus internship. And the student got approx 85-90% placement in my college and those companies are well reputed.

The placements in MDU are very good. Many top companies visit the university campus for hiring students. However, MDU does not facilitate summer internships for its students. 70-80% of students get campus placed out of which 30% get placed in top-notch firms with average placement as high as 6-7 LPA. Top MNCs like Adra, Gemini Solutions, MediaAgility, G R Infraprojects, Jakson Group, Delloite visit the campus every year. To date, 440 MNCs have visited the campus to recruit students across multiple domains. The lowest salary was recorded as 2 LPA. Whereas the median salary was recorded to be 2.4 LPA. The highest package recorded was 6.4 LPA.

Placements are just good I would say. There is a very low percentage of placement. Only a few students got placed in campus placement. The student takes their jobs on their skill basis. College plays a small role in placements.

The college provides the best placement & training facilities to the students Students get their internship after the completion of 3rd year & final placement in or before the final year Students should get 60% marks to appear in the placement program

I have chosen Civil engineering because it has a large scope of government jobs, you can also get a private job. Civil engineering is the only engineering course that is present everywhere because everything is based on construction. All the faculty of this college were so nice and faculty to student ratio is also good, there is 1 teacher for every 10 students All the faculty members are highly educated and most of them are Ph.D. holders and some of them are postgraduate in engineering. Their teaching method is normal means not so good not so bad If we talk about term exams then nothing has happened timely due to this pandemic but overall teachers giving their best to complete the semester and to do exams timely. It was easy for me to pass the exam because of this coronavirus because the university gave us a chance to do 5 ques out of 9 which was quite easy for me.

The companies start to visit the campus to place students in 7th and 8th semesters. Almost all the sincere students get a decent fresher job. Students decide from the multiple MNC's that visit the institute every year. Infosys, Daffodil, and Naggaro are some which constantly conduct placement drives. Many students crack government exams thanks to the world-class library and many also crack off-campus offers. In a nutshell, the institute's placement cell in the leadership of Training and Placement Officer Mr.Arun Hooda who himself is an alumnus of the institute has something to offer to every candidate.I plan to either go for a government job or crack a good placement offer , But currently being a sophomore i am not focusing so much on my plans after i get a degree.
