Scholarships are also provided to the students who has reservation benefits and also provided to the ews students.
The faculty members in the department are very good at knowledge and have a great experience in their field. some faculty members are iitians also.
Campus life is good as the campus is huge, green and beautiful .

Dislikes

Hostels are not provided to everyone due to shortage of rooms.
Food quality of hostel is very poor they have to change that
Hostel messes are not so good and food test is average

Sports Ground And equipment with a 400 m track and a gym in college ground
Proper science and computer labs which help in Student practical work
Teachers are fully supportive and help students

Dislikes

Students take the classes very less serious and only attend classes when their names are struck off
Some improvement in college infrastructure like auditorium is good but according to college strength of 6000 it only allows 300 people to gather

Course Curriculum Overview:

Programming language and theory subject both were there so I choose this course and almost it covers all the real life applications The semester system should be abolished and there should be exams once a year so that students focus more on practical knowledge also. Teaching methods should include project work which was not there in our college

The infrastructure and campus amenities were nice
There are many trees planted in the campus which provides healthy environment
The transport facility for the university is also good

Dislikes

There only few curriculum activities for the students
Projects are not given to students for real life experience
Ther computer system of classes is not updated

Placement Experience:

The third semester students are eligible for the placement. There are various companies coming to campus providing placement opportunities to the students. One of my senior got 800000 package from a company and he is placed in bhopal

I most liked the library of the university
the campus is also very beautiful and green
teachers are also very friendly which i know

Dislikes

not enough focus on practical on theory centric
do not give importance to physical activities
food of some of the hostels are not good while for some it is

Placement Experience:

There are almost no placements in our university because only top 3-5 students maximum get placed which is also not guarentted so percentage is might be 1 or 2 percent so make some efforts privately as I am doing.

Real and actual review of gju hisar

Likes

Talking about likes infrastructure is so good
University library is so large and vast collection of books
Faculty is helpful help in many ways to students

Dislikes

Talking about dislikes placement is not upto the mark
University location is not that good on comparison to other university
University exam result takes more time as expected

Placement Experience:

Student can apply for placement from 6th sem And talking about placement actually it is not that good or can say nearly 20 percent got placed from the on campus placement Currently I am writing review and Infosys came for the placement

Likes

A lot of teachers are very helpful and candid.
The infrastructure in the new buildings is really wonderful.
University organises a lot of functions fests and the incubation centres are top tier with top infrastructure.

Dislikes

The old buildings are in quite bad conditions
Some non teaching staff is just the worse they are not cooperative and act like they own the place.
The Internet speeds of wifi is very irregular and may work so week at some place and so bad the other

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th sem onwards. The companies that visit are new local startups and Infosys ,tcs ,blinkit, Zomato, Walmart,payzapp, Wipro and quite a lot.highest package has been of 32lakhs per annum. Just a lot of profiles, software engineer, software developer, etc. percentage in different courses varies quite a bit but around 30-40% student get placed. I wish to take up a job as an data engineer.

My bad experience at GJUST Hisar

Likes

You will get plenty of time apart from studies. If you are interested in persuing something else than studies then you will have great time to do it as teachers do not panic about attendence.
The incubation center is amazing and you will get a nice place to make new things like I remember i made a drone there.
Library is so huge. You can use library as its huge and air conditioned.

Dislikes

The croud is so bad. I don't like these people here. They have ego problems
Please avoid joining this college if you are from NCR.
Few teachers are arrogant and they are like they know everything but they don't actually

Placement Experience:

O placement. Please don't expect anything from this college as you will not get any placement from here. People are dumb. Only a company called repository come here which is local company and even they reject people here

GJUST From the prespective of an avg boy

The humongous size of the university. It is spread over 375 acres of land. It is full of greenery and wildlife animals that roam freely around the vicinity of the university that is covered in woods.
The name value and face value of the university is pretty great. Considering it is the only university in the span of 100km other than Chaudhary Charan Singh Agricultural University.
Diversity of students is also a great factor of this university. As it is a govt university students from far away states come to this university for their education.

Dislikes

The behaviour of the staff, from the guards to the chairpersons all behave like they are some big govt individuals.
The online presence is also quite bad and their website sucks.
The university market is also quite small . All it has is one barber shop, one laundry shop, one Photostate shop, one diary centre in it.

Placement Experience:

The last year or the 7th semester is where one can expect to be placed in the companies. Here many companies comes like Amul, inforsys, motherdiary, classmate, Danik Bhasakar for the recruitment to thier company. The avg package here is about 5lac pa and the highest that has been offered is 12 lpa in 2023. About 95% of the students gets placed here.

After 6 semester students become eligible for campus placement Many IT companies come for campus placement The highest package is about 16 lakhs in btech printing with 100 percent placement 40 % student get placement from college

I appreciate the infrastructure and the good teachers.
I am fully engaged in my university and I found a good quality of social interaction.
I most like the teaching method and a good faculty members are their to support.

Dislikes

I dislike the hostel facilities and some rules

The main reasons i choose the computer science engineering is that i have a interest in it and their a lot of scope in this field. The curriculum prepare me by give me real life example and real difficulty that i face in my future. Their is very low difficulty level for exam.
