My course is btech in civil engineering. I love to survay and measuring. We do experiment on the outside play ground and feel and see how machine and things work . The PhD students and faculty help to perform experiments.

The is hectic work load of timely submissions is more than what you had in schools. Continuous assessment through quizzes and projects also requir to dedicate significant time to the coirse. One should be consistent.

I have find this course very interesting. As I have little previous knowledge and fond of knowing more about technicalities in this field. College has provide best teachers for every subject. We have interesting course curriculum including lab practicals and tutorials. Faculties are very good with having deep knowledge in their streams. There will be two exams of each semester, one is mid term and one is end semester exam..

I choose this course because in my rank I get this course. Faculty are well educated. Some of them are from IISC AND IIT'S . Professor teaching methods are ok. Some of the professor in teaching are exceptional and there teaching methods is very very good ????. Ex. Dr s.m.yadav sir who teach us hydraulic engineering and , G.D.kale sir who teach us building technology. Mid sem -30 marks End sem - 50 marks 2 quizes- each contain 10 marks One quize before mid sem and one before end sem exam. In exam to getting passing marks is very easy. If u study night before exam well then also u able to pass exam with average score. Some of the professor are repeat the most of previous year question also

I am interested in civil engineering so I chose this branch. As this is a National Institute, the faculty-student ratio is decent. Faculty are Ph.D.'s term exams are moderate. For lab teaching, we students are assisted by PhD scholars.

All want that after btech they have a good package but here I am choosing civil engineering coz there are many scopes towards civil services as well and my rank is in that category. All the faculty members are good and they have excellent talent. They have a good strategy of teaching. The ratio is good. In one sem there are two exams, the first mid-semester then the end end-semester. No difficulty comes in passing exams because all the faculty teach us in an easy way that we can understand.

The professors at NIT Surat are very helpful and kind. Since everyone in today's world is opting for computer science, I decided to go with civil engineering because it cannot be replaced. The faculty: Student ratio is 1:50. All the faculty members have done there Ph.D. from well-known universities such as IISC Banglore, and foreign universities. The mid-term exams were taken every 2 months and after mid-seems, there was an end seems after 2 months. The exams are of quite a good level.
