- The central library is very good with centralised ac where we can study comfortably and the collection of educational books are too good
- Mechanical engineering labs are equipped with all the necessary devices and equipments with access for students to develop their own projects with clubs
Dislikes
- The lack of proper lawns and mid to below average food in canteen
- Mechanical engineering main building is in very bad condition as the ceilings are falling off in some areas and quite risky for students to study there.

The tuition fees per semester is approximately around 67000 with seat rent and registration charges to be paid in every even semester other than that the mess facilities are 17000-19000 per semester which is included in hostel fees that is 37000 per year. The fees for st/sc are 6000 per sem and fee remission is applicable to obc ncl students and gen ews too.

- I like the location of my college my college are in the main surat City so transport and availability are quite good.
- I like the mega technical event of college it the the gujrat biggest techno management fest
Dislikes
- I don't like the sport's facilities in my college there is only one grouund for both cricket and football
- I don like the restriction of college they don't allow students to get out from main gate after 10:30 pm

Per semester college tution fee is 62500 means in a year total tution fee is 125000 At the time of admission fee is 16000,3000 fee for an even semester and 7000 fees for the odd semester for the dispensary and Library, Family income is less than 100000 than eligible for full tution fee remission and if less than 500000 then remission is 2/3 of full tution fee for sc/st full tution fee remission.

- The greenery in the campus , the campus is full of trees whch maintaain a god environment.

- The foood in the mess is prettty very bad they dont even give non veg to first year.
- As it is a government colege so the development work is quite slow.

I got admitted through jee with an AIR of 7001 and percentil of 99.56 . Year wise fees is arounf 1.69 lakhs. The scholarships provided by the college are divided in many categores like the sc/st candidates gets the full fee remmision and the candiates having less tan 1 lakh family income have a full remmsion as well candidate have bet 1-5 lakhs hve a remission of 2/3rd of total fees.

- The campus is located in the main area of Surat which provides good connectivity to various places
- The seniors and the teachers are very friendly and knowledgeable. We must know how to use them in a good way
Dislikes
- The campus is small even though it is lush green. The hostel is not good
- The mess food has a repetitive menu. The quality is sometimes a concern

If you want to complete msc along with staying in hostel. The total fees for 5 years ranges from 10 to 11 lakhs however the course fees alone comes to 5 lakh. The fees seems to increase every year. There is no scholarship for msc students however there is scholarship for btech

Svnit collage 1st semester total fees is around 140000 in 100000 is coching and tution fee and around 40000 is mess , electricity bill,sports ,and any others fee . In sc/st catagory the fees is reduced to around 50000 . They provide fess remission option for this some documents are required ex income certificate, ITR, affidavit etc .

- Senior are just like friends and help in every aspect.

- This college is too huge and we have to walk alot. Because vehicle is allowed till the main gate only.

The college is super amazing and it has huge campus of 250 acres. And the fees is same for students in msc. But for school school/st students the tution fees is waived off. There are many scholarship our college providing and our professors also motivating us and also give us guidance regarding scholarship and events regarding academic. And the college celebrating lots of event.

- Every hostel has two seated rooms which is one of best thing and only given in SVINT compaired to any other.

- Road are under construction and are improving.
- Some buildings are under construction so some areas are dusty.

The fee structure for mechanical Engineering at sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, surat is divided into various components .the annual tuition fees for a general category student is around INR 1,25,000.In addition ,students are required to pay other charges ,including caution money (around INR 5,000), admission fees (approximately INR 3000),and registration fees which only apply in odd semesters. For students belonging to reserved categories like SC/ST or those who fall under the economically weaker section,tuition fees is waived or significantly reduced ,depending on eligibility .Scholarship like National Scholarship portal (NSP) and other various state funded schemes are available. Other fees includes hostel and mess charges which ranges around INR 32,000 .

when we taken addmision we have to submit some admission process fee and other fee approximatly maine svnit me 1st year me 72000 (including hostel mess and othere expences) + 66000( tution fee) submit kiye the when i was taken admission in svnit (excluding jossa fee) . if you are sc st student then you dont have to pay tution fee and if your family income is less than 2 lac then you have also eligilble for full fee remission ,if your family income is less the 6lacs and more than 2 lacs then you have to just pay 33% of tution fee. as such in svnit not providing merit mased scholership from collage but we have to verious scholership option for applying your finiancial condition.

- The things I like in this college is more free space around us it is a big campus of around 250 akars, and with big Library, Canteen, Clubs and Playground also
- Secondly I like more the opportunities I got after coming to this campus according to my studies as well as my cultural activities .
Dislikes
- For now the things I dislike and mostly about the construction that was going on in the campus.
- As because of construction the Rood and the department are not very well comfortable and a lot of distraction.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
In SVNIT Surat the anival fee is about 1.5 Lakh foe both tuition and hostel. For category like ST and SC the fee refund will be given for only Betch Students but for MSc students there is no refund of fee. Other than mine all my batchmates are of general and OS candidates so, for them the refund is about half then ST and SC candidates. Scholorships are available in this campus and regarding that I have no idea as my category wont let me take scholarship. And coming to the hostel fee, Mess refund will also be given by 15k per year. For my Course My Fee per year is 1.5 LPA .

What is the scholarship at SVNIT?
SVNIT offers many scholarships to deserving students. Students get scholarships for institute fees and hostel fees as well. For B.Tech students under 1 lakh, family income gets a tuition fee waiver. The alumni association also offers a few scholarships to students. There are provisions for mess fee refund as well.
