Aspirants seeking admission to 4 year Full-time B.Tech should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.
Academic Requirement:
- Candidate must have cleared his/her 12th class with minimum 50% of marks in aggregate from a recognized board of education.
- All SC/ST candidates should have 5% of relaxation.

Admissions are granted on the basis of performance in the All India Engineering/Pharmacy/Architecture Entrance Examination ( JEE (Main) ) conducted by CBSE, for MHRD, Government of India.

If a student avail of single occupancy in a Hostel, an additional payment of Rs 4500 will be included in the Hostel fee structure
The SC/ST/PwD students shall get a complete tuition fee waiver. The most economically backward students (whose family income is less than Rs 1 lakh per annum) shall get
a complete remission of the tuition fee. The other economically backward students (whose family income is between Rs 1 lakh to Rs 5 lakh per annum) shall get remission of 2/3rd of the tuition fee

in svnit there are mid sem end sem 2 quizes() mid sem weightage is 30 marks , end sem weightage is 50 marks(but paper was 100 marks ),2 quizes each of 10 marks tutorial in each week total 25 marks . in each subject there are total 125 marks .

- Male Female ratio is not that much good.
- some buildings and hostel are too old they need reconstruction

- Limited industry exposure: Some students feel SVNIT lacks sufficient industry connections, resulting in fewer internship opportunities and practical experiences compared to other top-tier institutes in India.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Artificial Intelligence is very popular now a days and i have interset in this course so i choosed this course ,yes we are prepared for real-world applications.Till there is need in remove some subjects which are are of no use and coding culture should be increase.There is 2 quiz , 1 practical,1 mid sem and 1 end sem in one semester.

- The students have freedom to do their extra curiculam activites.
- The teaching is good, and also the placements and the interenships provided to the students.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure is not good, as it is a old campus. The institutions has to consider this.
- The facilities in the hostels are not good like wifi connection and mainly the food provided in the hostel.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I have choosen Artifficial Intelligence department, which is growing rapidly these days.The reason for i choosen this department is that i have intrest in AI and AI growing rapidly in the present society. In my curriculum they are teaching us from basics later they will cover advance topics.The teaching is good but it is better if they include more projects to do for students so that student grab the topics easily.The exams are gooing good. As they are conducting according to the schedule, without any intersection f any other activities.
Likes
- The college is situated in the center of city. so there's not much burden in travelling
- Regarding college life, i got exposed to people from states all over India, which helped me to develop my communication skills
Dislikes
- There's no non-veg provided in mess. so for it we have to pay extra money for it, which is a problem for most of students
- There's a lot of groupism and casteism in this college.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum is a bit strict. specifically this year it was made more strict. I hadn't had any basic idea about course curriculum of the college at beginning . choice filling in counselling was done based on previous year cutoffs. but, since artificial intelligence is a new course, i estimated the cutoff to be between cutoffs for cse and ece . during the course of the curriculum, it prepares us to face the real world. the courses taught to us can be applied and related to real life. theres only one query that the lecturer had, if they had used a mic/audio amplifier the lectures would reach students up to the full efforts of the lecturer. the timetable for us is too good , it was made considering the stress factor of students. One doesn't feel any burden with the timetable ( for our department, may vary for other departments) as we have only 4-5 classes for a day.

- placements are very good at college we have 18 lakhs as average salary which is pretty good
- the locality of the campus is very nice exact middle of the city. can accesses anything
Dislikes
- groupism is there hindi vs other language is ther no respect for other culture peple.
- the faculty is not up to the mark classes happen in very boring and the paper are tough
Course Curriculum Overview:
ai is booming subjext and our course is very relevance and comprehensive for real life.our course is well desing for taking mtech in ai.the teaching staff foe core subjects are well they are higly qualitied.we had mid exam of 30 marks and end sem exam of 100 marks at frequal interval of time quiz and viva are taken. at end practical exams are taken.

- The locality. SVNIT is located at the center of the city surat which makes it easy to buy any neccessities.
- The people here a warming and welcoming.
Dislikes
- The distance from Hostel to academic blocks is about 1-1.5km , which makes it difficult if you want to reach your class fast.
- Poor department. The dept of AI, is new so it doesnt have a permanent building.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The cource is well designed and upto the date with all the advancements in Artificial Intelligence. The cource in the first year Would contain all the fundementals like Mathematics required for Learning Machine learning Algorithms. The Facults here are OK . The effort from the students is greater than the efforts from faculty.
