Admission Will Be based on Entrance Test Conducted by the National Forensic Sciences University as per NFAT-2024
Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants seeking to get admission in a program should have passed Bachelor’s degree in Science / Medicine / Engineering/ Pharmacy/Dentistry/ Ayush with atleast 55% for General/OBC/EWS category
candidates and 50% or equivalent for SC/ST and PwD category.

- To start with the review, the major difference I observed in NFSU in comparison with other universities was it way of curriculum. The students are encouraged to gain more experience through practical knowledge rather than theoretical lectures.
- While they conduct classes, the knowledge you gain through practical work is far more advanced. There are a wide range of analytical instrumental methods available which makes it so much easier to gain much more research experience.
Dislikes
- While the faculty and professor are very good at their respective subjects, they could improve with their placement strategies for students.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum of my course is specifically made to look at the field of food technology in the direction of forensic science making it unique. The course comes with a specialisation of forensic food analysis which prepares us to bring the world safer food. With the availability and hands on training of analytical instruments, the curriculum prepares the students better for real-time applications and makes it more interesting to dvelve into the field of research. Exams are conducted regularly which include all kinds of activities rather than just the theoretical writing. The difficulty level of examinations in my experience is significantly moderate. 4 sets of examinations are conducted per semester including the end semester examination.
Fee Structure And Facilities:
It is feasible and affordable. Yes it is expensive at some extent but when it comes to proper management and education it is well maintained. There are additional chargers for glassware and library fees. There is tution fees included in the same category.
