Remarks:

I am completely happy with my decision to choose Ahmedabad University over other premier universities owing to the amazing learning experience here. The liberal education and various events bring the students of all the branches and schools together creating an opportunity to learn and grow together. However, I am a little unhappy with the recent changes in the engineering school where a few great faculties have left and the field of ICT has been closed and the department of CSE has been placed instead. I really wish that the new faculties being recruited to fill in the vacant positions are as good as the ones who left.

The bad is that too many submissions at a time through which the students gets pressure. This leads to less participation in other activities good part is project based learning gives the glimpse to student that what is his role in the future market and have to work accordingly. The outcome is that student is less confused about selecting is interesting job. He would select where he is good at it.

Its a very nice college for ICT, especially faculties here are much enthusiastic. Institute focuses on Project based learning so each subject in each semester have one project which leads towards great understanding of that subject. Institute provides enough facilities for starting your own venture like if need some server space of say USRP devices, micro-controllers, etc.

The only bad thing in our college is we have a small play-ground not so big. The management is pretty old and experienced and hence the college is well maintained. Good thing about our college is that a student can directly interact with the faculty members about any doubt or issue related to their subject and the faculty members are also always ready to help the students.

Ahmedabad University: 1 Answered Question

What is your review of Ahmedabad University?

Yashveer Singh
Aronnyo Dasguptastudied at Ahmedabad University

One of my friends pursued his BBA degree from Ahmedabad University. His review regarding the institute is as follows.

  • Regardless of the course, you are pursuing, you need to stay engaged in your studies throughout the year at AU. You can’t mug up your books right before your examination and score well. You will have quizzes, case studies, presentations, etc. almost before every class.
  • It offers a wide range of courses. You will need to make your own timetable for the subjects that you choose.
  • The faculty of the institute is helpful. You can talk to them about your area of interest.
  • There are many clubs that you can join. Every Wednesday, different club events take place.
