Real facts of Shree Damodar College of Commerce and Economics

Likes

Infrastructure of our college is well maintained and all the classrooms are fully equiped with smart boards
the course is great and teachers teaches as per updated circular
our campus is really outstanding and spacious

Dislikes

placement is made available but not at a high range and good promising salary
the canteen is quite expensive and the taste isn't so good
the internship is provided but not reached out to everyone

Placement Experience:

the placement are provided every year and year by year the companies offering placement are high income providing sources. after the 5th semester placement are provided in our college. the highest package is of Rs 20000.

I choosed this course because of the affordability They do teach good expect for some teachers I think the college should hire better teachers and should make sure they interview them Exams were like in every 3 months..they were not that difficult

I always had interest in coding which was the reason for choosing Computer engineering. The curriculum is good enough to clear the basic concepts of core subjects . It will surely improve your problem solving skills

The infrastructure is too good and also clean and neat
Various cultural events are organised throughout the year
The teaching way is too good and also helps in future run

The BCA Cours which is an undergraduate course of 3 years will help me to be ready in IT Sector and also helps me to understand various concepts of computers and their applications. I have learned various softwares throughout this course and the teaching methods helps me a lot

Don Bosco college a place to grow together

All facilities are good especially the smart classrooms where in we get to have indepth learning
The teachers are amazing as they come from different backgrounds and with a great experience
The overall course is really good for film students and media students

Dislikes

The only thing is that the college is on the third floor and walking is a lot
And for the course Hindi is like a add on which is not related to the course

Dempo College: A Student’s Perspective

Likes

The infrastructure is quiet modern, a alot of natural sunlight in classrooms, all classrooms with projectore and speakers
Faculty, the faculty well spoken and well experienced with deep knowledge in their particular subjects
A lot of events for students to get real life experiences

Dislikes

Canteen needs improve both in terms of food and hygiene, chairs are limited
No sports infrastructure (lack of football pitches, other sports equipments
No record of past placememts drives, no info about how many companies have come to the campus in past and how many students actually got placed

The curriculum is perfect for someones looking to enter the management space the concepts taught help in decision making in future roles The course needs improvement depending on the trends for example currently ai and stuff is trending so theres a need for students to equip these skills

First of all it was government college..
The college has a huge campus and a good infrastructure
College background is also good enoughh.

Dislikes

Surroundings area is not clean enough and not maintained
It is a long distance to cover everyday.
Don't have a proper ground to play around

I myself wanted to bebin this course as it has bright scope. It is very attractive in real world. the area needed to be cleaned and well maintained and hygiened as well. And the class timing are not good enough . They keep classes as they want.

Likes

The campus is good, lots of air and good weather. Good facilities, decent food spots around and faculties are also good mostly. Masters courses are available in some departments.

Dislikes

There are cows roaming around as well as dogs so there is a lot of rubbish on the roads. The college is situated on a hill so getting there is a challenge for bus travellers, Canteen is horrible, so is the workshop. Security is non existent.
Anyone can come during college hours and even kill you and nobody will do anything.

Placement Experience:

I have no clue but the highest placements are in Computer and IT branches. Civil has probably the least placement. The quality is good thanks to IIT and NIT being in the same campus thus the big companies that come to those colleges also come to our colleges but they prefer those students more because NIT and IIT are more prestigious colleges.

The faculty is very nice the teaching and the faculty both are good .
the environment is very good students learn better
The placemnets are more than 90% And the avergae package is good for a start

Dislikes

There is no proper discipline in the college its not that strict
students smoke putside the college and in the follege premises
College is kind of slow in giving placements but u get good placements

Placement Experience:

The 5th semester students became eligible for the college placements Companies like cipla ,suzlon highest package is around 8 lakhs they say around 90% students got placemnets After i get a degree ill do masters in the same college
