Insight of GEC Raipur

Fees and Financial Aid:

The tution fees is is 9000 rs per semester And yearly it is 18000 rs Admission fees is about 2100rs Caution money 1000 rs Lab fees is 500 rs But if you are belongs from sc/st category then tution fees is 100% off If you are girl or from OBC category with the annual income of less than 300000 rs then your fees will be also off 100% . But if you're parents are government servent then you have to pay all the tution fees. My branch mates pays only 2800 rs because some of them belongs from st/school category I paid 21000 rs because I don't have income certificate. They are many scholarship like NSP, fees waiver, merit based cum, and many more. Maximum scholarship amount vary between 15000-30000rs.

The fee structure is very good and economical. The tution fees does not hike at all. All the fees from first year to fourth year remains same which benefits a lot to students. The total fees for a general student is around eighty four thousand for four years. There are lots of scholarship available for the reservation categories for their help in studies. The fees for girls in this college is zero and infact they get scholarship from college side. Overall the fee structure is very good.

The fees for girls will be 2865 per year because it's a government college so they give girls the opportunity to study without any load of fees. And for boys fees are 18000 per year and they also got a scholarship so half of the amount is returned and girls are also provided with a scholarship.

The fees hike policy depends on the state govt. Basic fees for OBC and UR are 5000 and reserved categories and girls are exempted from fees. Each student has to pay the semester exam fees of around 700 INR semester-wise. There are many types of scholarships. Like OBC, ST, SC scholarships, minority category scholarships, research and development scholarships, etc.

If not NIT IIT then GEC

It will cost you around 20000 per sem hostel and canteen fees not included. Because they don't have a hostel. The scholarship is according st, sc, obc and general. St sc can get much relief in fees because it's a government college and if you are in a general category then do the hard work because only 2 out of 60 students per batch gets scholarship on the basis of academic performance.
