ADBU admission to the PhD program is based on merit, including entrance scores like UGC NET, or an entrance conducted by the university, followed by a Personal Interview. ADBU B.Tech Admission 2026

ADBU offers B.Tech with 5 specializations and lateral entry to B.Tech. The minimum eligibility for B.Tech is that the candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination with at least 50% aggregate marks and Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/ Computer Science as compulsory subjects. For B.Tech lateral entry, candidates must have a diploma in engineering and technology with 50% aggregate marks.

The selection of candidates in the first-year B.Tech is based on merit in the qualifying examination and entrance test, i.e., JEE Main/State Entrance Test/Don Bosco University Graduate Entrance Test. ADBU MBA Admission 2026

Candidates seeking admission in any MBA specialization have to appear for CAT / GMAT / XAT / MAT / CMAT / DBU-PGET. The minimum eligibility requirement for an MBA is to be a graduate in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate marks. Final selection will be based on past academic records, entrance scores, performance in group discussion, and personal interview.

ADBU offers admission to the PhD program with 24 different Specializations. Candidates having a Master’s degree in the relevant discipline with 55% aggregate marks or 6.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale are eligible to apply. Selection is based on merit in the qualifying, Don Bosco University ‘Aptitude for Research’ Test (DBU-ART) and personal interview conducted by the Board of Research Studies of Assam Don Bosco University.

The prospectus and application form can be obtained at the Tapesia Campus or the Azara Campus.

I gave CUET PG but couldn't make it to any government colleges/universities. And since Assam Don Bosco University is nearer to my hometown, my parents agreed to send me here. I came to knew about this University from my neighbour sister. The admission process was more simple than expected. You have to go to their official website and do the process online. Then you will be contacted for online interview/exam. For me it was only interview. And then after sometime, someone will contact you to go through the payment process. The eligibility criteria is simple, you have to pass from any recognized university with 45 or more percentage. I'm writing 45 percentage because in my batch someone who got 45 percentage also got admission. But it might not be the case for other departments. You also have to pass interview/exam. The number of students getting admitted also depends on the seat capacity and therefore it's important to partially complete the payment process to confirm the seat. I did the process online, so basically I don't have pictures to upload.

The other colleges I applied to were Royal Global University, Assam Down Town University and Brainware University. I got accepted in all three of them but I chose ADBU because of the faculty and opportunities here. It's value for money. No, I didn't get a rejection from other colleges that I applied to. I didn't make it there because ADBU was always my first choice. *ADMISSION PROCESS* For BA : 55% in previous exams (board exams) plus we had to go a PI round. For BSC :55% in board exams plus and entrance exam conducted by the college and PI round.
