Financial assistance ishan udhoy scholarship this scholarship literally helps those who belong to poor families and helps them in fulfilling their needs.
I like the beautiful campus, playgrounds, gymnasium and also the education system of the university is also good.
Teachers are good and friendly. they help you regarding your problem

Dislikes

Our hostel food is very bad quality. Many times due to the food we suffer from constipation and other unhealthy conditions.
Some of the department also quite bad and some of university area also looking bad.
The hostel mess food is not good and it is unhealthy also

A look inside Digboi College

Likes

I think in this college faculties are best.They teach us nicely as we understand easily.
Digboi college environment was good as compared to nearby other colleges.
I like the library because we got many book as wanted.

Dislikes

Washroom are very dirty so should clean nicely.
Digboi college organised very less cultural activity.
Digboi college has lot of water scarcity.

I choose this course as I wanted to do Banking. The curriculum prepare us for real -world applications or further academic pursuits by providing knowledge. To enhance the course curriculum and teaching methods, consider incorporating more active learning strategies. For mathematics paper they should provide more time as compare to now.

Some talks about Digboi college

Likes

I like the teaching staff because they taught us very nicely
I liked the environment or surroundings because it is to fresh
And I also like our college library it's very peaceful

Dislikes

When the teaching staff teach us in Assamese language because it becomes very difficult to understand
And I disliked our girls common room because sometimes it becomes very dirty and smelly
Our college has less cultural activities

When I was in school at that time I already decided to choose Bsc in computer science because I like computer science very much and I feel intresting but at a time I also thought to drop a year for my JEE couching but at last I take a accurate decision and took this course

My sweet & sour college

Likes

I really like the environment of our college as it is surrounded by greenery
The entrance gate is very strict as it checks if the students are in their proper uniform or not
The library is something very commendable as it is very beautiful

Dislikes

I don’t like that my college perform less curriculum activities
The washroom is less in numbers so at times we have to stay in queue to complete our needs
The college ground is small which maybe insufficient space for future when college performs any intercollege activities

Course Curriculum Overview:

When curriculum activities happens occasionally it includes extempore speech and elocution which helps a participant to be confident while public speaking and so on I would appreciate if the curriculum activities like sports are performed twice or thrice a year and not only during college week

So the course is almost good but it's difficult for me to focus on history literature but it's okay and the teachers of our course is regular and they teach us very nicely except for 1 2 teacher and all over everything is good

The canteen doesn’t provide good hygiene foods
No sufficient water in the toilet and for the drinking as well
The toilets are not good to use as it is not clean

It was a good course for me because it tells about the plants nature world rather than the animals . I choose this course because as plants gives us oxygen and I want to know about them as they are one who keeps us alive

The college premises is well maintained and houses diverse trees
On top of a hill surrounded by trees, lies a master piece of infrastructure ,the Digboi college
The college library contains a large collection of book from ancient to modern books

Dislikes

Common room especially boys common room seek attention
Although , water taps for drinking water is there, some of them required maintenance
Use of cell phone is prohibited inside premises

Well the aspect which lead me to choose my course Are: It's a three years bachelor course Get to learn about the universe through equations Eligible for most of the government jobs after graduation The curriculum is designed in accordance with needs of this era The department of computer science require a lot of improvement

I like its campus it is covered with forest and greenery
I love its department and buildings decorated with plants
I love its auditorium it is very large and efficient for all the students

I don't like its canteen and food and water systems in our colleges
I don like its toilets and washrooms they are not so clean
I don't like our college time table it is ver hectic

I liked the faculty , environment of the college, and also the friend circle of here

During the first year, the students of all branches will have a common classroom for all subjects. It is from the 3rd semester that you will be well acquainted with respective branches. The teachers are very dedicated and cooperative and the classes are held regularly.

Alongside academics, you would be left with enough time to excel through various extra-curricular activities. The annual tech fest “Auxesis” is held every odd semester and the University Week is held every even semester. The workload becomes exhausting during these semesters.

The campus is serene and splendid. The greenery everywhere brings out the best of the serene beauty and creates an enthusiastic environment for studying. Overall, your college time here would be terrific.

Everyone has their own individual perspective and opinions thus; your experience might be very much different and better too.
