I choose Jagannath Barooah College because it is a first college of upper Assam and second college of Assam. The college was established in 1930 and it is a autonomous college and affiliated by Dibrugarh University. The college got A grade by NAAC. So that I got admission in this college.

Jagannath Barooah is a very renowned college of Assam. The faculties of this college is excellent and performance rate is very high. Moreover the college is in our home district. So that Jagannath Barooah college was the first preference for my undergraduate course.

There are various factors which made me choose this Institution, First of all because of it's teaching staff, which is amazing and friendly.

During the first year, the students of all branches will have a common classroom for all subjects. It is from the 3rd semester that you will be well acquainted with respective branches. The teachers are very dedicated and cooperative and the classes are held regularly.
Alongside academics, you would be left with enough time to excel through various extra-curricular activities. The annual tech fest “Auxesis” is held every odd semester and the University Week is held every even semester. The workload becomes exhausting during these semesters.
The campus is serene and splendid. The greenery everywhere brings out the best of the serene beauty and creates an enthusiastic environment for studying. Overall, your college time here would be terrific.
Everyone has their own individual perspective and opinions thus; your experience might be very much different and better too.
