My boring college life

Likes

I liked the garden of the Dngc college its beautiful
The football ground is huge and very nice
Food at the canteen is also good, most of the time

Dislikes

Low maintenance of the classroom and bad lighting
Low maintenance of the boys washroom and bad lighting
Small classroom not able to accomodate all the students

Course Curriculum Overview:

I don't have much opinion about the course curriculum. It's good enough, i don't feel it's irrelevant, however the routine for the classes are hard to comprehend. Being the batch of NEP. I expected more than just more subjects to study.

My College experience

Likes

The orchid garden of our college us Best, and its quite peaceful to look at. As you enter the first gate you'll the orchid garden, it has seating arrangements for the students, as we sometimes had to wait for our next classes.
The teaching staff of english department
The library is also quite nice, it has many books.

Dislikes

Small infrastructure of the college, suffocating hallway
Suffocating washroom, it is crowded so much
Smelly washroom and bad lighting of the girls washroom

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being the first batch of the New Education policy ( NEP ) it wasn't quite easy to understand the new course and curriculum system. Personally, i find it interesting and quite relevant, we got to study vast variety of subjects.

Don Bosco college jollang has made me from boy to a man,where I have faced many ups and downs but made me pure man

Likes

Faculty members are very helpful to the students
Teaching methods is at peak as it gives students much quality education
3 to 4 programs are being placed to give opportunities to overcome to maximum numbers of students,where every clubs has their of programs

Dislikes

Infrastructure should be improve though they are doing right now
The campus is bit compact due to situated at hill top
Well I’m not happy about the fee structure of the college

Likes

Infrastructure, management, safety. The infrastructure of the university is very good with loads of beautiful buildings. The campus is filled with cctv and guards enhancing security for all.

Dislikes

Nothing: RGU is one of the best universities in India and without a doubt the best in northeast India.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As for me, everything about my course was good. The department is good, the faculty members are top class, the management is great and overall pattern of exams is also very good. The level of education is really high. There are smart class rooms for every semester and everything is great and lively. The library is also very nice

Nice college for experience leadership and enhancing leadership skills
College is Very active with the cultural program
Teaches us more about real life than books

Dislikes

There is limited number of club and club room is not allotted to club except for the art club
College lack behind in literature events
Irregular classes and sudden notice without any proper information

Course curriculum depend on the course you are taking I will say it's quite good for science and commerce students But due to the lack of staff and large number of students in arts The college doesn't stand up to the mark Very few options for additional courses

The final placements start before the semester exam of the final year probably in the 6th Semester. The placements again depend on the capability of an individual, knowledge and skills. The average CTC offered was 4 lakh pet annum, highest was of Rs 7 lakh and the lowest was of Rs 2.5 lakh pet annum.

Likes

Teaching methods , professor are well trained on how to teach
Facilities like clean drinking water and in the hot days providing cold water
Campus are very clean and lots of greenery

Dislikes

Assembly that is done every Morning . which is a waste of time from my opinion
Canteen food is not good before it was good but now its not
Over being strict still treating us like we are in class 7 or 8

Likes

Mostly i liked the sports week as it was very well organised
The college where it is located i a very good place
The teachers are very friendly and they are good at their job

Dislikes

I disliked the hostel rules as we were grown ups but were treated like a kid
The most boring part was the main gate of the college remain closed the whole day
I think the uniform could be better and cute

My sister recommended me the college and i chose to study English and I thought it will be a very easy subject but no my friend it was way too hard i dont even know how I managed to pass all the exams but it is all thanks to my teachers
