IIT Hyderabad B.Des Course Details 

• The entire course work of the Bachelor of Design Program is structured into the 8 semesters which consists of course work from 1st sem to 7th sem and industrial training in the 8th sem of the B.Des program.
• The course work of the B.Des program consists of several core courses, program electives, projects, lab work, LA/CA, etc.
• Each theory course consists of a minimum of 2-3 credits, while each elective consists of 1-2 credits. 
• The final project or industrial training consists of a minimum of 12 credits in the 8th semester.
• The evaluation system of all the courses in the B.Des program curriculum is based on the performance in internal and external assessments, viva voce, mid-term examinations, and end-term examinations.
