Placement Experience:

From the fourth year first semester onwards the students are eligible for thecsmpus placements. Most of the top companies visited our college. The highest package is around the thirtysix lpa and lowest package is thirteen lpa.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the because I liked the electronics side I like chips how there builds. The curriculum is good but there need to revise the curriculum to lastest version according to today needs and technology.The difficult of exam is medium and the timing may vary from 2 to 2.5 months

What is your review of Andhra University?

One of my friends graduated from Andhra University. According to him, it is very reputed among students as well as professionals. But like every other institution, it also has its fair share of positives and negatives. Let me share them with you which you can analyze later on.

Pros:

  • It is one of the oldest universities in the country, hence has a great alumni network.
  • The student intake in each department is 30-60, which benefits the student-teacher interaction.
  • Each department has its own dedicated library consisting of several books, magazines, journals, and other study materials.
  • The campus is huge, covering 600 acres.
  • They have the biggest sports ground. Students are also provided with a gym and basketball court.
  • The entire campus is wifi enabled.

Cons:

  • The placements are average. The number of companies visiting the college has gradually decreased.
  • The lab equipment is not well maintained or upgraded.
  • Andhra University follows the age-old curriculum with little to no changes.
  • Students are told to put more emphasis on theoretical learning than practical.
  • Exams are mostly based on theories rather than practicals.

Overall, it is an above-average institution. It may not be like the IITs or NITs but still works well. It is suggested that you opt for this only if you have missed the opportunity to study in the IITs or NITs.
