KIET University Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

In our autonomous batch there are more practical and project based subjects. There is one subject called design thinking in this we have to think of real life problems and empathize about it abs find or create solutions for them it can a whole new system, a simple app or machine or even a campaign as long as it helps society. There is one ihs subject also which promotes my branch (ECE) in pharmacy , like teaching about medical devices and technology and even our semestet projects are like creating portable ecg machine, creating automatic wheelchair, temprature- oxygen- heartbeat sensor abd recorder etc. It increases difficulties but also improves chances for placemenys in your 4th year if you are already creatibg such things in 1st sem. Frequency and difficulty of exam is moderate i think.

Recently due to recession the placements has drop down in every college as in our college where placement rate was about almost 100 percent has falle onto 70 to 75 percent with mostly packages are offered by mass recruiters like 3-4 lakh packages

-> From the 6 semester of your course , companies starts to come for the placements . There are certain companies which recruits the freshers , so you can have an edge over that . -> companies like ACCENTURE , WIPRO , L'OREAL , TCS , COGNIGENT , etc comes for the recruitment . -> For the last year , The average package of college was 4-5 LPA and the highest package was 43 LPA . -> Last year , there was approx 90% of students placed in different companies before their graduation .

The placement of the college is good, if your are studious and know coding well then you can easily secure between 6-8 LPA, Above that it depends on your hardwork, skills, connections and convincing capabilities. A year before the highest on campus placement was 44 LPA secured by 2 students, while the average stood at 6 LPA. Also there are GDSC (GOOGLE affiliated coding club) and School of AIML (Affiliated to Amazon) which provide chances to best student of their club. Also there is FOSCC which is open source club where the 3rd and 4th year seniors have good internship and abroad job offers.

Basicly the main decision that is important is the college overall ration and have an Almost done package in the placements and in my stram there are things i want to know and there are not exam but has preCT and CT are taken and the time is sufficient to do the questions.

Placement has gone very down since the last year many students have been unplaced due to recession after the covid year we have come to know only 50 percent people have been placed till now and it has been a shock

The placement is worst. Only mass recruiters like wipro, accenture and tcs do visit our campus. No startups and tech giants visit our college. Students have to apply for off campus for high paying jobs.

The placement thia year was not that good. Because many Companies doesn't visit our college this year. Many mass recruiters also were also missing. the highest package this year was around 19 LPA offered by CISCO. And avg package this year was around 6LPA. Only 60 percent students are placed this year till now. When it comes to me I'm mostly focused on off campus placements.

Since I am a freshman, I do not have personal experience in the field of campus placements but by the reviews of my seniors the placement of the college is really up to the mark and above par. This college has the best placement in Delhi NCR providing it a good reputation. Moreover the college works on the overall development of the student which will help them get a high paying job.

Placements are decent in this college it all depends on your hard work and skill set that u have built over the 4 years. If u have proper skill set then u will definitely get some good placement from this college
