- Genetics is crucial to developments in medical science, pharmaceuticals and agriculture.
- In the first year, students will take a broad-based programme that covers a range of areas in the molecular biosciences. At the end of the first year, before they specialise in years two and three, they are free to transfer between any of the courses in the department.
- In the second year, styudents will study their chosen subjects in more depth and develop the practical skills.
