- I absolutely love the campus here at UoN. Especially University Park campus, which is one of the prettiest places to study/relax, with beautiful lakes and parks.
- The university is very diverse in terms of the student body with people from all over the world. I made some amazing friends from many different countries!
- Nottingham is relatively a much more affordable city compared so some other student cities in the UK.
Dislikes
- The campuses are a little far from each other, having to commute from the hopper bus, which sometimes makes it inconvenient to reach lectures on time
- Since my course was a 1 year postgraduate course, it was very intensive and sometimes felt pressure.
- Some of my lectures had a lot of students which made it a little difficult to clear doubts within the class.
- I found my accommodation pretty easily through the university’s housing portal. I chose a single bedroom in a shared flat with four other people, and while we had a shared bathroom, the setup worked well for me.
- Rent, including utilities, came to around £500 a month, which fit my budget nicely. It was only a 15-minute walk from campus, so I could easily get to classes without relying on transport. This made life so much easier, both for saving money and managing time.
- Overall, I didn’t run into any issues finding a place, and it was a pretty smooth process for me.
