- It's is a very Multicultural Campus
- The campus is very high tech.
- Nobel Laureate Faculties
Dislikes
- The campus is very spread out and somethings it tiring to go from one class to another.
- The accommodation is very expensive.
- Sometimes its hard to get time post lecture from professors.
Course Curriculum
- The thermal power and fluid engineering course is a particularly difficult course. It is one of the toughest Mechanical branch courses in the university.
- Some of the subjects like research methods and experimental methods, that came in the start were taught as basic, non-serious courses but were some of the most important ones. The core course was amazing and well detailed.
- 3 to 5 hours per day at max. So days of the week can be free too.
- We had 18 students in the class. I was the only Indian student.
Fees
- GBP 20000 for the tuition, which was paid in three installments.
- GBP 7500 for the accommodation. Single bedroom. This was also paid in three installments.
- I opened an account in Barclays Bank with the help of my student ID. Transferred money from India to that bank and then paid the fees online.
- The estimated monthly expenses for me were GBP 500

- The process throughout was very smooth and responsive- nothing to dislike
- The lecture delivery was great- no complains
- Well maintained classrooms, facilities- full points
- I searched through local agents. This can be considered cost-effective as compared to on-campus accommodation. The only drawback of staying off campus is that you don't make friends easily, which can make you feel home-sick at times. I have seen a lot of students staying on campus being more involved in groups.

Dislikes
- Fee structure is very expensive for Indians
- The weather in the country is very cold and rainy
- No placement cell for helping with the job post completion of the course
Course Curriculum
- The academics are pretty tough as compared to Indian academics, it was a blend of theoretical and practical experience, as almost every subject had a lab session and practical exams, the labs give you a chance to put your theoretical knowledge to test.
- The usual day has around 2-4 classes and the day is pretty spread out
- The syllabus has a lot of positives and they are great for increasing your knowledge.
- I had a batch of 30 and has 4 indians in the batch
Fees
- 25000 pounds tution fees this is paid for an year, as my course was for an year, the university accommodation is expensive and the fees is paid per week, the bills in UK are expensive as compared to India and the transportation cost is expensive around 2 pounds for a bus trip,
- You can get a student bus pass which is a money saver, groceries are expensive and cooking yourself is the smart choice

- The degree was of one year which was challenging but highly rewarding.
- Group projects and individual projects developed many skills.
- University tie ups with industry can help potential research students in their research.
Dislikes
- General public was less friendly towards foreign students.
- The public areas are deserted throughout the day which feels odd at times.
- Very high prices of the groceries and other items that you need on a daily basis.
- In the UK, the university does NOT guarantee a full-time job. However, the student centre in the university helps you to polish your CV or cover letter, recommend new skills, etc.
- But if you are highly inclined towards getting a job, I would recommend a 2-year Industrial master’s degree in the UK wherein you are forced to work in a relevant industry for the second year of your master's degree, and the University helps you in it!
- Moreover, now with 2 years post-work visa, there are significant chances that you will continue with your job in the 2 years Industrial master’s degree case after degree completion. However, if you are looking for a job with a year Master’s degree, it is possible but you have to keep applying for a longer period of time in the industry of your interest.

It's very updated and teaches how to solve problems in the industry. All the assignments were problems faced in the industry.

- Diverse, always something happening, very politically aware students, strong adherence to timelines. Very helpful lecturers. Challenging academics but not too tough and well managed courses
Dislikes
- Classmates aren't super sociable and mostly keep to themselves. Profs, while approachable, can sometimes not reply to emails for weeks/months. Strong emphasis on self-study and not as much guided study.
Course Curriculum
The Course syllabus is relevant to modern-day requirements. We had a course on Techniques for Research and Industry where we had to collaborate, as part of a pre-determined group, to create a proposal and design of a new technological product.

The total for me was 33500 GBP. I have heard that this year, it has been hiked to 35000 GBP.
