  • To be honest, landing a full-time job in the field you have studied is difficult. I would really suggest having a backup plan of going back as well. if within 3 months you don't find a job after completion of the course, you can opt for a post-study work visa. But I would suggest saving the money and trying for job opportunities within your home country.

  • Quite updated and relevant to the ongoing things.

  • The courses were practical and had no theory exams; all the grading was dependent on the assignments. The positives were that the course was hands-on, but the negatives were that not all the courses in the project were advanced and world-ready. I had 2 3-hour sessions per day, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon after an hour lunch break.
  • We were like 30 students in the class and one-third of them were Indians.

Fees

  • 17,000 Pounds had to be paid at least 50% before admission. And the rest had to be paid semester-wise in full; no Installments for International students.
  • My intake was in September, and my semester finished in December. So by January, I had to pay the rest of the fees. You have to add your debit card account to the Link they send you or you can log in and see the remainder of the fees and link your debit card. they will auto-debit the amount on that specified date. for any reason or due to a low balance in the account, if the auto-debit fails, you will receive an email and they will reattempt it in 3 business days.

  • Off campus you can search on many apps or just be in touch with the seniors as they help you find the house. Rightmove is the best app and website that is legit; be ready to pay money to the right agent and person, as it is important you stay legal as your address goes into the database of your insurance number.

  • The difficulty solely depends on the student’s academic performance, for some it might be hard and for some it might be easy. The academic system is more towards practical learning.
  • For me the positive side was that we had a minimum number of subjects in our course and the negative point is that we had no exams.

Fees

  • For my course the tuition fees was £17,500 for full time one year masters degree. This doesn’t include hostel or any other accommodation fees
  • The fees was charged semester wise. But you can pay it once as well. You can also pay it monthly by setting up Monthly Payment Plans.
  • For me the rent was £500 including bills. I spent around £100 on my groceries. I spent £100 on travelling and miscellaneous items got to £50. So total is £750. This are not the exact figures but it’ll be more than this for sure

  • University helps in getting in touch with seniors who are leaving, which is the easiest form to find an accommodation. I found my accommodation the same way. I got picked up from Heathrow airport and dropped off at my accommodation, so there was no hassle for me. There are many private accommodation near uni as well.

  • My course is a mix of both theory and practical. It was moderate curriculum with practical applications done for the assignment submission.
  • The positive aspect is the assessment as there is no pen and paper examination but real time problem solving and research aiding to more knowledge and exposure.
  • The negative aspect is the teaching phase as it is nothing different from the undergraduate classes.

Fees

  • My course has a tuition fee of 16900 pounds for international students. There is no extra charges hidden for books or lab facilities.
  • We must pay a initial deposit of 5000 pounds to get the CAS statement required to file Student Visa. For the September 2024 intake, the fees can be paid in installments before January 16th.
  • The monthly expenses are quite high as I stay in a private accommodation near to my campus. I pay nearly 700 pounds a month for rent excluding bills.
  • The gas, electric and wifi bills sum up to 70 pounds. My university has regular bus facilities on working days. Its really helpful to travel to university for course work.
  • For general bus transport its takes 3 pounds for each travel whereas 8.5 pounds for train travel. Hence, approximately 50 pounds might be spent in transportation.

  • The course was moderately difficult. It had a mixture of theory, practical, and written exams. Out of it, the majority was based on the written exam at the end of the semester, while practicals and assignments had about 40-50 percent weightage.
  • The positive aspect was the practical experience and the negative aspect was that it was based on a written exam.

Fees

  • My fee was 15800 Pounds for one one-year master's degree (which has increased now).
  • It is charged annually or in installments as per your convenience
  • My monthly cost of living was around $900. The rent was 750 pounds for a student accommodation, groceries were around 50-70 pounds (being very cautious with money), and I had very few transportation expenses as I lived 10 minutes from university, but usually it is around 30-40 pounds

Kingston's course syllabus was updated and current. Course curriculum was well designed by industry experts making sure that the content remained relevant to current market needs. We also gained a lot of practical experience through internships, real-world projects and guest lectures. We also got an opportunity to get research experience by working on various projects in this field.
