- Academic Structure is concrete with seminars, lectures and asynchronous tasks
- Scenery is beautiful with flowers and trees and usually snow.
- Closed campus which is very safe
Dislikes
- Food catering is not present
- Fire alarm checking every week early morning
- For my course very few electives in first year
Campus Life
- 2 campuses—Central campus and Westwood campus. Campus includes a huge library, which is available online as well. The sports and wellness hub includes a huge gym, rock climbing wall, tennis courts, basketball courts, indoor cricket floors, yoga studio, rowing studio, swimming pools, etc. Warwick health center is also only 10 minutes by walking. You must register yourself before arriving to be allotted your personal GP.
- Campus societies organize events almost every 2 weeks, from club nights to sundowners to balls and boiler rooms. The student union holds weekly events at the on-campus clubs like the terrace bar and the copper rooms.
Accommodation
- My accommodation for the first year is on campus. Applied for it on the Warwick accommodation portal. You get an email to do so. Semester-wise rent is 2200 pounds all utilities included, and it has a kitchen and laundromat. The only challenges were the types of dorms-—ensuite and normal. Accommodation is 5 to 10 minutes from all classes by walking. Only a few dorms have rooms with attached bathrooms. For 2nd and 3rd years, accommodation in Leamington Spa is the most common place. Student accommodations like Station House, Vita etc.

- I really liked how diverse Warwick is, there are students from all over the world which give students the opportunity to engage with people from different backgrounds and learn about their cultures.
- It’s a massive 720 acres campus, felt like a small student city itself where one can do so much. There’s cafes, restaurants, pubs, sports complex, theatre etc everything within the same campus so it became super easy to socialise and make friends.
- There are 13 different accommodations to choose from, they all have different characteristics for example private washrooms, shared washrooms, small rooms, big rooms etc, basically a place for everyone based on your preferences. They also allocate your accommodate based on your personality by making you fill out a quick personality questionnaire which I think is a nice thing you do. For example, some people prefer party hostels which some prefer quiet ones.
Dislikes
- It’s an expensive place to study, the tuition fees can be quite exorbitant plus the living expenses on campus are quite high. Sometimes it can be a bit difficult to afford
- The wifi on campus used to buffer a lot and caused a lot of problems especially when I was in first year. I wish they had better wifi throughout campus
- The coursework and the grading can be quite intense sometimes. Given it’s a highly competitive university, it can be a bit difficult to understand the coursework and score high grades. The professors were quite strict in terms of grading assignments and didn’t give high scores too easily unless it was an exceptional piece of work.
Campus Life
- The uni only has one main campus of 720 acres and one medical school campus which is connected to the main campus. There was a 24*7 library, arts centre, sports complex including swimming, gym, tennis, basketball, cricket pitches, pubs, restaurants, cafes, bubble tea shop, grocery store etc.
- The university has more than 250 student run societies and clubs which any student could join. They ranged from academic societies like accounting society, physics society etc to random societies like animals society, taylor swift society etc. One could buy the membership of these societies and attend their events, most of them were free. One could also buy the sports membership and play whenever they want to play. Eurovision was one major event which happens in May every year.
Accommodation
- I stayed on campus for two years and off campus for one year. You can find on campus accommodation on the university's website. I had my own room with my private washroom in my first year, the kitchen was shared with 7 other people including girls and boys. It was around 160 GBP per week. All the basic furniture like bed, desk, chair etc was included in the bedroom and basic kitchen appliances were included in the kitchen.
- To look for off campus accommodation I took help from seniors to see where they stay and also looked up nearby off campus accommodations. It wasn't challenging, it's just that I had to do quite a few viewing before finalising one. It was also difficult to decide who to live with. Off campus accommodations are spread in different cities and towns like Coventry, Canley and Leamington Spa. Most of the Indian students stay at The Union and Station House in Leamington Spa. Coventry was like a 20 mins bus ride from campus. Leamington was like a 30-40 mins bus ride from campus.

- The campus and green cover, especially the different forests and walkways
- The facilities associated with my department
- The classroom amenities

- Less no. of bikes to roam within the campus
- The area allocated to Life science department (it could have been bigger)
- The in-campus grocery store could have been cheaper
Campus Life
- Warwick has mainly two campuses, the main one in Coventry (around 750 acres) and the other business school campus located in The Shard, London.
- Main campus has all the facilities you can think of: library, sports complex, shopping centres, cafe's, bars, and a hospital. There are a lot of fests happening all through the year. I do not know the exact names because as a Master's student, one doesn't get a lot of spare time to engage in them. Although for bachelor students, Warwick is fun and heaven!
- The sports complex houses all major sports including squash, swimming pool, mountain climbing, badminton courts, basket ball courts etc. It is the biggest university sports complex in the midlands.
Accommodation
- I found on off campus accommodation using on acco.com. the monthly rent was 420 GBP for period of 10 months, a personal room, kitchen, wifi, washroom and clubhouse was included.
- After that I moved to a rental house along with my friends which also had all these along with a garden and a washing machine. There were no specific challenges in case of accommodation in Coventry as it was an educational hub, with a lot of options. I would say go for local accommodation with landlords through the university resources, make sure of the legalities (rent agreement). My previous accommodation at Axo paradise was approximately 8 miles and then the rental house was on a walking distance.

- The campus is huge and lovely to walk around in the evenings
- On-campus accommodations have nice diverse students living
- The professors and career coaches are really helpful
Dislikes
- Probably that they have online lectures and then smaller workshops
- There are just too many south-asian students feeling like I don't see a huge diverse crowd (But that's the case of any UK university)
- Time just flies by in self-studying, assignments, lectures, workshops and then internships and extra-curriculars
Campus Life
- As far as I know, Warwick has one campus here in Coventry, and the other is at the Shard in London.
- The campus in Coventry has everything: a five-story library, a huge sports and wellness hub (with the gym), and a medical as well. Every society has their own festival, so a lot of events keep happening every time on campus.
- Full-time opportunities are available, but if I talk about the people I reached out to last year, most of them have decided to give up and move back to India. I am not that sort of person; I have faith in myself that I will land a full-time role soon. A few have landed a job directly after finishing the course in the company they researched for their external dissertation, so if you choose your project wisely and network correctly, it will be easy to land a role quickly.
- The salary for most students ranges from 27k to 33k a year. There are various job portals for jobs, and most of them are listed on the careers page, but the best one is LinkedIn.

- I like the faculty members and the way they approach the students .
- Our college will support in all aspects like games ,cultural activities and even also in studies .
- When we come to studies or designing the app or something our faculty members will help us. And college supports all technical clubs .
Dislikes
- As we are migrating from one to another country first few days we have to adjust with some food .
- Weather conditions and climate these are the two main things we have to adjust .
- Nothing much every thing I like in this college .
Campus Life
- Our college has only one campus and it has branches in schools. There are 3 branches or 3 campuses.
- Everything is available in the college; we have more than 3 libraries on our campus.
- Every semester, our college members will conduct sports, and winners and runners are awarded some prize or some prize money.
- There are many fests conducted on our campus, like the peace fest, the innovation fest, the Warwick Film Festival, etc.
- Clubs are taken by professors and seniors. Like GDDG, DATA ANALYSIS, AI, and others, these clubs play a major role in developing our soft skills and technical skills. In every fest, we enjoy extra-curricular activities; in every fest, we participate in cultural activities.
- If we perform well in cultural activities, we may have chances to take part in some competitions, etc.
if we good percentage above 80% we can able to secure a good job. the average salary is 900000 per anum in our college .students find their jobs through their percantage . if they are placed from campus it is ok or else we can also find the the job through offcampus method . the highest package is 30000000 and the least package is 900000 (in rupees).

- The infrastructure of the university is amazing such that no two building would look the same. Despite that, every departments (WMG, WBS etc) facility are very unique and specific to those. The lake closer to WMG buildings are for all students of Warwick but sometimes you feel connected to it since you have classes every day, you see all 4 seasons of weather occurring by the trees as they start to change colour from red to yellow, wither off and grow again.
- The centre of the campus will always be my favourite where all events, food stalls happen every week. Also to note, there will be always something interesting happening every day – could be small art gallery, dance festival et.
- Networking events – As a Warwick student, I am lucky to attends many networking events with various companies of different sizes and different roles. During the induction period, networking sessions happen every day for roughly 1.5 months and still continues to happen later but as in weekly once.
Dislikes
- Certain modules (SFEO), I had replacement teacher teaching that module and wasn’t happy to how the first batch was taught. Though, every teacher teaches differently, SFEO was more of one way communication, a lecture where they was no interactive session at all.
- Modules likes BDAI were taught as literal lecture with 70 slides per day, no interaction between teacher and student. Despite that, there was no prerequisites for the module which meant that everything taught made zero sense to most of the students. It was so advanced directly focusing on advanced machine learning and algorithms. I wish it was more structures.
- I really wished the program I studied was given a placement year option since the program itself is very generic as you cover all subjects on the surface level. For example - Compared to people who do specialization in supply chain and studying supply chain on very basic level plays a significant role while applying for jobs.
Campus Life
- In terms of campus at uni, I believe there are quite a lot of buildings – Business School, Engineering, Medicine, Law, Social Science, Arts etc. They are unlike other universities which are usually spread across the city. It is all located in one massive area but divided by departments.
- There is a massive library at uni with 9 floors – accessible to all students, a big sports field on either side of university one being a sport building which has beautiful swimming pool, squash areas, a huge badminton areas where 12-15 courts are available, gym, rock climbing as well. On the other side, there is big sports field for athletic activities.
- There are n no of clubs – anything you might thing is available there from calisthenics, gymnastics, book reading, arts, gaming club and so many more.
- I can’t remember any particular facility as I have been involved in a lot of cultural festival than sports.
Accommodation
- I found my accommodation (IQ Weaver) through Google search and a couple of websites that aid you in finding student accommodation (not sure which one specifically).
- I paid roughly £600 a month for rent, which is an ensuite (bedroom + bathroom) and the kitchen was shared. The accommodation was really the best out there for me because it had a big common area—big enough to host a massive party for example—and had pool tables and vending machines. The gym at the accommodation was more than enough to get trained; it also had gaming rooms and the best thing—cinema rooms, which can be booked and watched with friends outside the accommodation.
- I didn’t seek out recommendations; I just read through Google reviews to see how good it is.
- My accommodation was roughly 30 minutes by bus from the university, and most Indians, I believe, either stayed at IQ Weaver or Calcot Accommodation, which was much cheaper than mine

- It is a very diverse university. So you meet new kinds of people every day, and it is never a trouble to find fellow Indians. - The academics push you mentally. They foster overall growth.
Dislikes
- It is a campus university and not in a big city such as London, which can be a downside to some people.
Campus Life
Campus life is really amazing and very fun. There are a multitude of societies one can join. These societies hold multiple events every day. There is not one boring moment in Warwick.
Accommodation
1st year accommodation is on campus. Personal bedroom and bathroom. Shared Kitchen. The rent is £218 per week. It is an 8 people flat. The accommodation is absolutely amazing. Super clean and most of all super safe as it can only be accessed by key fobs.

- I was offered admission in a few other universities but I chose WBS because it is highly ranked in the world. It is in the top 20 business schools and the facilities at WBS are unmatched. The business school has many accreditations and also offers career service with its own career service portal. The university has a very high reputation and the teaching standards are peak. It really challenges me to push my limits and it offers the perfect inoculum for growth be it academic, professional or personal.
- The infrastructure, ambience, diversity, standards and reputation that we feel at this place is really awesome and it makes you want to work hard and bring out the best possible version of you. The challenges are really painstaking but the fruit of it is really worth it and prepares you for a life beyond campus life.
Dislikes
- It is quite expensive to even live a meagre life here. It can be financially challenging and the university is quite far away from major cities like London and Manchester. Getting medical attention in the UK is really challenging and is a big hurdle.
Campus Life
The campus is extremely huge with all facilities you could ask for. The wifi is fast and available mostly all around the campus. There is a top class sports center which you can access with payment and the library is huge and modern. There are ample learning spaces all around the campus which you can make use of. The campus is really safe during all times and it also has its own bus interchange that connects it to nearby towns and cities. Warwick also offers numerous amount of clubs and societies which you can join to make the most out of your campus life. Warwick offers student well being services to keep you emotionally strong and heard. The University of Warwick has premium research facilities that makes it one of the most sought after campuses in Europe.
Accommodation
The university provides quite a few options for accommodations within the university and the facilities in them differs with the accommodation chosen by the students. I chose the university provided accommodation in Sherbourne Halls of Residence. I personally love the facility and it suits my preferences. The building has got good heating and wifi. The rooms are ensuite and the kitchen is shared between 12 flat mates. Kitchen sharing is not a problem as the kitchens are big enough to accommodate everyone. Apart from the residences managed by the university, there are a few great privately managed options around the university as well. University provided accommodations can be costly. I pay around 9700 GBP for it. Accommodations outside the university can be cheaper but do consider the other expenses you could incur as you would have to pay for utilities and transportation.

- I decided to come to University of Warwick as it is one of the most reputable universities out there. It is ranked 4th for Economics and that was deal sealer.
- It's diversity and inclusion of people from all cultures. It's helps me grow in my own space and provides enough opportunity to thrive. The classes are divided into smaller cohort which helps in better understanding of important concepts and problems.
Dislikes
- The time-frame for each module is really short and sometimes things feel a bit rushed, but I think it is a general problem for all Universities here. As, we get less time and simply we are not used such fast paced study back in India.
Campus Life
There are a lot of clubs be it sports cultural or academics. We can easily access any facility. In spite of most of them being paid there are a lot of free sessions provided by many clubs. The research, library, WIFI and all other facilities are really smooth and up to the mark.
Accommodation
I am living on campus, it is quite convenient. The cost depends on which accommodations you choose. There are a few cheap options. The facilities are very good and in case of crisis there is always staff available. There is a residency hub for each accommodations that makes it easier.
Likes
- It has best ranking in Distance learning MBA (Its hybrid because few modules are face to face also).
- Everything. Well Organized lecture plans, even for working professionals. The university offers a huge library (online or offline) for reading and referencing, along with numerous subscriptions of the biggest publication houses in the world, including Harvard, and hosts Excellent Networking events.
Dislikes
- Honestly, there is nothing that I dislike. If I have to suggest something to university, it can be to provide more placement and collaboration opportunities to distance learning candidates as well. Because for full time programs, there are more opportunities.
Campus Life
I experienced the campus life during Face to face module, it is very vibrant and engaging, offering a rich array of clubs, events, and extracurricular activities that cater to diverse interests. Students can actively participate in various clubs and societies, fostering a sense of community and promoting holistic development. The school frequently organizes networking events, workshops, and seminars, providing ample opportunities for students to interact with industry professionals and gain valuable insights. Regarding facilities, the campus has a modern infrastructure, well-equipped research facilities, and extensive library resources that support academic excellence and research endeavors.
Accommodation
I visited for few weeks, my programme was Distance learning.
