  • There are platforms, and even the university provides facilities. Whatsapp groups are available. I paid 75000 rupees per annum but increase by 5000 every year electricity extra and water also. i took the room from a friend who was leaving.

  • UoB has a city campus, every other department spreaded across the city, in near localities.
  • UWE is a campus university, which makes it great and more reliable than UOB
  • Both of these universities have a good number of clubs and sports clubs.
  • UoB is better in terms of activities, Student Union, international clubs, etc.
  • UoB has more beautiful libraries (8 of them); UWE has one BIG library.
  • UWE has better sports accessibility than UoB.

  • UoB's student accommodation. I had to pay 1000 pounds per month. ensuite room, pool, and common room.

  • They have great infrastructure, clubs and events. I love libraries; they are just great, hand down they are the best in the world.
  • If you are able to make friends, campus can be great; if not, you have to an alcoholic or interested in clubs; otherwise, you will have a rough, lonely time.

  • Actually, the university was very helpful to students to get their accommodations sorted, but it was very competitive, as there were plenty of international students coming from across the world.
  • I would recommend students start this accommodations part very early, as it is also very hard to find a place in Bristol. The monthly budget depends upon what you can afford; it varies from 650 to 1500 pounds as well.

  • Well, there is no, like, border for the campus
  • The university buildings are scattered all around Bristol, but mostly your classes will be held in Clifton; maybe you can call that the Clifton campus.
  • The facilities include library, sport facilities, a gym, and a swimming pool; they also have a global lounge where you can sit and relax
  • Well, there are a lot of events that carry out throughout the year organised by various societies at the university of Bristol. for those you can check the Bristol su website.
  • As I said earlier, there are a lot of student societies which carry out all kinds of events around the year. they also take you out to some iconic places like Stonehenge, etc. For sports there are intramurals where you can play and they also have their futsal team and other teams as well.

  • So there is the university's portal to find accommodation if you want to opt in for that. you can choose from various accommodations that the university has and then you put in your preferences and they give you a decision based on that.
  • My monthly rent was around 900 pounds per month and the facilities include a gym and a snooker table, there are 2 common areas where you can hang out, and there are also various events that are organised by the accommodation team.
  • The accommodation process is pretty straightforward; you just put your preferences based on the places you like and that's it.
  • For future students the advice i can give them is just don't look at the distances from the campus; also consider that Bristol is quite hilly so maybe you check the elevation from google maps because this happened to me. my place is around a 20 mins walk from uni but i have to climb a hill, which is a pain.
  • In my accommodation there are a lot of Asians; it's called print hall. But, the students are usually evenly divided based on the preferences they like

  • This university has a ton of clubs, catering to every section of students. And these clubs keep organizing events in which students can take part and socialize with like minded students.

  • I found the accomadation via Univerity's housing portal.
  • Month rent was 840 gbp and the room was at a 5 min walk distance from the city centre and the university.

  • There is only one campus; however, various departments are spread across the city of Bristol. For example, the Dental School is located towards the city centre and the Veterinary dept is towards the outskirts of the city. There are campus fests almost every week but I usually attend those relevant to my interests.

  • People in industry-related courses find it easier to get jobs and it is a major advantage if you have related work experience.
  • However, it could be quite difficult depending on the job market these days. You could go without a full-time job for months and even those with full-time jobs are usually in start-ups. It depends on the job market and the above comments are in relation to the year 2024-25.

The campus life is great! There are a huge number of clubs and societies according to your interests including, dance, music, art, yoga, fitness, etc. There are events for all the festivals across the world which do not make you miss your home. There are sports facilities such as swimming, gym, badminton, basketball, and paddleball. They also have summer sessions where you get classes for free. There are multiple libraries for various domains like engineering, law, medicine, etc with all relevant materials required and enough study spaces to accommodate all. WiFi is present in all the buildings provided by the university for free. They also have services like printers, Computers, borrowing books, etc.

I took a private accommodation 15 mins by bus from the university. I had a room in a 5 BHK independent house. It cost me 650 GBP without bills monthly. Bills added around 100 pounds. Other spaces are student accommodations which are a little expensive options. the range of rent goes between 800-1000 pounds per month.

So, I would suggest to go for university accommodation, its a bit expensive than the private one's but it worth paying more as you avoid all the hassle and tension finding new

Being a city campus the university was very enriching with an advance facilities and infrastructure even in the oldest of structures; with on-campus gyms, sporting facilities, multiple libraries, labs, etc. There are plenty of extra-curricular activates to be involved in from celebrating various cultural festivals to sporting activities.

I opted for a single en-suite room that was quite far from the university buildings that my seminars were geld in. But there are many kinds of accommodation to opt from and all the international students are promised university accommodation if you register until a certain time but can still get in the waitlist and usually find something. The accommodations are mixed in all ways but you can choose based on gender, dietary requirements, etc,
