Course Curriculum
- The syllabus is relevant with current industry standards.
- Usage of latest tech in the syllabus was a plus point.
- Typically each day has 2 classes, either in the morning or in the evening. These classes are 2 hours long.
- The students in my classroom for my course were close to 120.
Admission Experience
- The QS ranking and the fact the university is part of the Russel group of universities was the main factor of me choosing this university.
- It does not require any tests, one might need a IELTS score above 7 only if their last course wasn't in English.
Faculty
- The faculty to student ratio is 1:20. They are friendly and approachable.
- My professor Shane Bond has left an deep impact on my character.
Campus Life
- This university has a ton of clubs, catering to every section of students. And these clubs keep organizing events in which students can take part and socialize with like minded students.
Part Time Jobs
- Students are allowed to work 20hours/week during the college season and 40hours/week during vacation. They earn around 700-800 gbp during course time per month. Usual method is either walk ins or online portals. Campus jobs are competitive and pay better than the jobs off campus.
Placement
- Less than 20% of my batch got into a full time course. Average salary would be around 50k gbp. The major source of employment are the online portals such as indeed or linkedin.
Accommodation
- I found the accomadation via Univerity's housing portal.
- Month rent was 840 gbp and the room was at a 5 min walk distance from the city centre and the university.
Exams
- No exam was compulsory for my course but IELTS is recommended.
- Statement of Purpose,LOR and CV are essential for the application.
Fees
- 40,000 GBP.
