What Students Say
Likes
- Just to clarify, my course was jointly taught by 2 universities, UoB and UWE. and is managed by UoB. each of these universities have their own pros and cons.
- Both of these university had good infra, campus, and all the required facilities.
Dislikes
- Yet both of them lag in teaching. I will say the learning I got from these two is 2/10.
Course Curriculum
- Course and syllabus were great. not the teaching, though.
- No industrial exposure,
- 3-6 classes per week. random in between 9 and 5
Admission Experience
- UoB being ranked 55 globally, UWE having the largest robotics lab in the UK, and the chance to get benefits from both the university resources.
- IELTS >7; I got 7.5. I have no idea about the GRE or TOEFL score requirement. 12Th CBSE >80 works for most of the universities in the UK.
Faculty
- Not sure about the ratio. they are good as persons and as humans but can't teach.
- We have to wait to be able to get in a meeting with them.
- NONE has any impact on me.
Campus Life
- UoB has a city campus, every other department spreaded across the city, in near localities.
- UWE is a campus university, which makes it great and more reliable than UOB
- Both of these universities have a good number of clubs and sports clubs.
- UoB is better in terms of activities, Student Union, international clubs, etc.
- UoB has more beautiful libraries (8 of them); UWE has one BIG library.
- UWE has better sports accessibility than UoB.
Part Time Jobs
- Most students do part-time work, depending on their house finance, so it is subjective. just appy and hope to get one. 20 hours per week during term time and 40 hours during holidays, campus part-time is difficult. not much just a fraction of students secure a TA.
Placement
- NO ONE IN THESE UNIVERSITIES CARED ENOUGH TO GUIDE US THROUGH THAT. Its a SHAME.
Accommodation
- UoB's student accommodation. I had to pay 1000 pounds per month. ensuite room, pool, and common room.
Exams
- 2 LORs, 1 SOP, 1 CV, IELTS >7 or 12th CBSE ENGLISH >80, Passport, and financial docs for VISA.
Fees
- 33000 Pounds per year
