7 October 2025: Abertay University is now accepting applications for the September 2026 intake, with the January 2026 intake deadline set for December 1, 2025. Check programs.
12 September 2025: Abertay University has released the International Tuition Fees 2026/27. Tuition fee for most programs, including LLB, is £16,950 (~₹20.29 Lakhs); MSc Biomedical Sciences & M.Eng Civil and Environmental Engineering Fee is £18,950 (~₹22.6 Lakhs). Check programs.
Abertay University admissions are offered in January, February, June and September intakes. The university is currently accepting UG and PG applications for the main intakes in January 2026 and September 2026.
The application deadline for the January intake is December 1, 2025 for students applying directly to the university for UG and PG courses. However, the deadline for September intake is not published yet.

Abertay University is lightly selective with an acceptance rate of around 85%. For admissions to postgraduate (PG/MSc) courses at Abertay University, Indian applicants need a relevant bachelor’s degree with 55-65% marks (or a 2.9 GPA on the 4.0 scale), ideally with a research component. If the degree lacks a research component, at least 60% is required. Industry experience may be considered if the bachelor’s degree is not directly related. The requirement for MBA aspirants is also the same, with an additional 3 years work experience in a supervisory role. Undergraduate applicants must have completed Class 12 (ICSE, CBSE, or state boards) with a minimum of 65% (or equivalent in A-Levels/IB) to be eligible.
Indian students also must submit English language proficiency scores, in forms of IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, or other English tests for UK.
