What Students Say
Likes
- The university was great
- The professors were great and helpful. The university administration and professors were always available to clear doubts and any issues students faced.
- I was particularly happy about the Archaeology Labs University of Liverpool offered.
Course Curriculum
- The course and syllabus were up to date and relevant. I have been allowed to interact with some of the top professionals in my field, as well as to gain the laboratory skills required for future research. I usually had two to three classes on some days and none on others.
Admission Experience
- I chose the University of Liverpool because of the Archaeology Program, which offered courses in Near Eastern Archaeology and Artefact Analysis, along with the labs and equipment like the SEM-EDS.
Faculty
- The faculty was great and helpful. Prof Bruce Routledge, Magnus Widel, and Mathew Ponding were all people who have left an impression on me.
Campus Life
- The campus was within walking distance of my accommodation. They had a sports facility, various clubs, a swing pool, and a gym. The library was great. They have a system that helps students borrow books from a series of libraries across the country.
- They helped get both hard copies and soft copies, and this helped me a lot during my Master's Dissertation.
Part Time Jobs
- I worked as a substitute teacher with a few agencies across various schools in Liverpool. The maximum work hours allowed were 20 hrs per week. It's ideal to aim for 15 hrs a week as it will be difficult to manage coursework if work is too exhausting.
Placement
- The campus has a career counselling center, they are quiet good and helpful. They also hold job and internship fairs every semester.
Accommodation
- I had gone to a private accommodation. IQ Great Newton House. The place was great, had laundry downstairs, and was safe for female students.
Exams
- IELTS, SOP, Transcripts from UG, CV, 10th and 12th Certificates, Passport.
Fees
- My tuition was GBP 20100
