Course Curriculum
- Great to the point curriculum, classes were well scheduled, not much industrial exposure but good number of students(60-70) in each lecture. Mostly lectures in the morning.
- Somedays a lot of lectures in the day dragging on to the evening. Staff very friendly and eager to answer questions.
Admission Experience
- No application fee, easy process, great faculty, good curriculum, safe student city
Faculty
- During the dissertation, the ratio was around 1:10. Faculty brilliant in terms of research and experience. Very friendly, very accessible, always eager to answer questions. Special mention would be profs Olivia, Becky, Matthew who made sure students feel at home with the subjects they teach.
Campus Life
- Vibrant campus life, with lots of fun activities going on almost every day. Had several careers fairs and events. Libraries are the best part of campus! Just so many and all accessible. Gym and sport facilities available too.
Part Time Jobs
- On campus student union offers some roles both paid and unpaid. Some research/admin roles also come up for temp part-time work on campus exclusively open for students. Very busy city allows loads of student-friendly, flexible part-time roles in hospitality, retail and security.
Accommodation
- The Tannery Leeds was reasonably priced, offering en suite to all residents. Regular checks and testing of rooms and very responsive staff too. Found it through Amber Students and monthly rent inclusive of all bills was around £600.
