The difficulty is high, as it comprises long classroom sessions and also is a mix of both theory and practical studies with a lot of concepts and case studies to get a better understanding.
- Positive aspects are the competitions and perks, like free coffee machines specifically for MBA. Also many events and parties are thrown for us.
- Also, many networking events we get to be a part of. Average no. Is around 60 but this year it was 30. 60% is Indian students.

I got shortlisted in UOB, sheffield, Liverpool.
- UoB was confirmed as it was under the top 80 in world rankings and the Deloitte challenge, with some programme excursion options in mexico and spain options. Also, the fee was fine as compared to others. And also got a scholarship of 10000 GBP.
- Rejected at University college dublin in ireland. Reason: Because my agent did not upload the required documents on time. It is one of the russel group institute.
- Application and shortlisting – admission and application for scholarship.
- I got a 7.5 on the IELTS, but the requirement is 6.5. but there is a waiver. If you have 75+ in english in 12th, it will be waived for you. But needs a good SOP.
- It was fine; just the timeline overlaps a lot with other universities and makes it difficult to make a selection.
-
I applied in sept 2024 intake. And the factors that influenced my decision were the admission timeline, fees, ranking, weather and accessibility.
- The admission process took 2 months and included the fees and accommodation booking, along with some welcome events and travelling.
- I applied in January, got my acceptance in mid-February, paid fees by the end of February and booked the accommodation.

1 faculty for every 3 students, as my cohort was very small. This actually is beneficial for us to get specific suggestions and focus on our growth
- Every faculty uses a different pedagogical approach for teaching. Some even ask the preferred way of being taught and design their module around that.
- For networking, yes, they do but for jobs, no. They thought help in getting you phds.
- I admire most of my faculties, as they have different quirks that amaze me. Choosing one is very difficult.
-
3 campuses, 1st in Edgbaston, Birmingham city. With 700-800-acres campus, 2nd in dubai. And 3rd in singapore.
- We have library, sports building, gym, museum, cafes, food court, gardens, etc.
- Grad ball, vale fest, freshers week, and many events take place here. Every month there are some events that take place. All events are conducted by a guild of students mostly. Many clubs are also there like consulting club, hindu club, literary club, etc.
- The main one is the guild of students, which is responsible for the events happening around. Vale fest is the biggest fest that happens here during summer, with all the university accommodations taking part. And many sports athletes also represent us in olympics.
-
From other departments, I have seen a maximum of 3 students out of the cohort get these positions.
- The pay range is around 22000 to 24000 gbp yearly.
- There is a variety of part-time jobs available on campus, from clerical to volunteering jobs. There is a website called work link from where you can find opportunities on the campus.
- Maximum we are allowed to work is 20 hrs per week but during holidays we can work 40 hrs.
- To secure campus jobs, it's easy if you know how to network.
-
The minimum is 12.5 gbp per hour but in mba you rarely get time to work. The difficulty level is moderate if you know how to communicate. Use worklink for applying to campus jobs and then connect with the hiring professor or manager via linkedin or mail to understand if the opportunity is suited for you. Then there is a call for interview and finalisation.
-
There are no particular data for this specific question.
- The average salary is around 35000 gbp yearly.
- The students usually find jobs using these hiring websites and networking. Also, there is an internship opportunity during the end of the course.
- Till now we are yet to complete our degree, but some are actually doing part-time with the potential to convert to full-time.
- The major hiring partners are deloitte, sulzer, newton and many big companies.
-
I found my accommodation on the university website.
- My monthly rent was around 450 gbp but this year it was raised to 580 gbp and wifi, electricity, water and heating were all included in it. The location is beautiful and is well connected.
- Since it was a university accomodation i had no issues looking for the same, and there were people to help me get to my room when i arrived with all the welcome kit and gifts.
- Look for cheaper accommodation in Selly Oak; it is nearest to the university and all supermarkets are nearby.
- My accommodation is 1.3 miles from my college.
-
IELTS or TOEFL is enough for the admission. Rest other exams will be added to your application.
- CVs, LORs, and statements of purpose are the requirements for the admission, whereas you are asked a few questions that are to be answered during the admission. This is to know if your values are aligning with the school's values and vision.
- For me there was no interview but i heard my classmates had to go through it.
-
During my time it was 36500 gbp for the whole tuition fee. For the hostel, I stayed in maple bank and it was 100 gbp per week. And the monthly food spend was around 350 gbp.
- You get the first two options, but not the credit-based one. Although I paid it all together, that means I paid the whole fee in one go.
- 800 gbp monthly, in which 450 is for rent 300 for food and approximately 50 for travel.
-
Yes, I received a scholarship of 10000 gbp for my fees. Eligibility was for everyone who were doing mba. The criteria were the essay on the question asked and the sop.
- I got 10000 gbp for my scholarship.
- I know two students got full scholarships and one got the same as me. With several students getting state scholarships from their respective states in india.
- Approximately 5 students get scholarships from school per year in MBA.
