What Students Say?
Likes
- Except for the academic standard that sometimes becomes a challenging aspect of the academic journey for international students like me, I like everything else about my university.
The first and foremost thing is the university's reputation and research opportunities. Then comes the experience and expertise of the faculties, the international standard of facilities and the friendly and welcoming gestures of the university staff.
Course Curriculum
My course is up-to-date and very well relevant to the current trends.
Exams
- There is an alternate option where you can waive off IELTS/TOEFL if you've scored 90+ in your 12th English exam, just like I did! :)) I'm not sure how many of us knew about this, but this has literally saved 15-20k for me. - UG - 8 GPA, 12th - 8 GPA, 10th - 9 GPA - Requirements: Yes, I had to submit 1 SoP and 2 LoRs and there was no interview for my course.
Placement
The biggest USP of all is that every postgraduate is offered career support for up to 2 years even after graduation.
Fees
£26,000 (~26L in 2023)
Faculty
The esteemed and experienced faculties are one of the other USPs of the university. Especially, my course facilitators have been friendly, proficient, and supportive throughout my academic journey at the UoM.
Campus Life
The university has 600+ clubs and societies (including Tamil and International societies), vibrant campus life and well-advanced infrastructure facilities.
Hostel
All university accommodations are of good quality but I would always recommend my accommodation as the best among the rest as it's just 10 mins (by walk) away from the university, affordable, hygienic and friendly.
