What Students Say
Likes
- I had applied to three universities: Birbeck University, University of Kent and University of East London and chose University of East London because it’s one of the best for I/O psychology program. Manageable fee structure, Interesting core modules , amazing panel of professors.
- Classrooms, library, faculty and support services, Group discussions, Diversity, Interactive lectures , innovative ways of teaching, Guest speakers, practical activities.
Dislikes
- I wish I could have more lectures to attend and less hours to sit in a day since we have lectures just twice a week which at times were overwhelming to board all the knowledge at once even though we are given enough breaks in between to rest but time-table can be improved.
Required Exams for Admission
My experience in University of East London integrates excellent academics, supportive learning environments, diverse communities, and ample personal growth opportunities. With quality teaching, inclusive communities, and robust support services , students thrive intellectually, socially and emotionally , also preparing them for successful futures and creating lasting memories.
Course Curriculum
It’s pretty informative and amazing to learn. Yes we had the experience of learning the module of developing as a Researcher.
Faculty
4-5 professors to 20-25 students. The faculty and Staff members are really Co-operative, understanding and really respectful. They were pretty much approachable and well versed with everything. Sonya Dineva and Jeremy Lemoine are the two professors whose guidance was constant throughout the course.
Campus Life
Everything right from the Indian Society club to underground parties to travelling across and lastly activities like fun-fair, puppy therapy, amazing library and excellent WiFi connectivity.
Placement
In my course, I had the opportunity to build networks but there wasn’t any placements. I would highly recommend to check on the university website.
Accommodation
I am staying in rented apartments with my friends where it totally depends on the budget that you opt for but for staying in London you are almost looking for £500-£700 rent which may/ may not include bills .
Exams
I just gave IELTS exam where my overall score was 7.5 and it wasn’t compulsory if you have scored more than 65 in English in your 12th grade. I had to submit the SOPs - answering questions of why I want to take admission in University - what intrigues you to take the course For interviews - look for all the demonstrations given by University For Documents - Xth, XII th certificate - BA degree certificate - All the transcripts - IELTS certificate I had one interview which was on the spot without any pre- set questions where I was asked to answer why am I choosing this module and course ? What is my research topic that I would want to focus on and why?
