Status of applied colleges: Rejected - Imperial College London Accepted – Rutgers University, USA Accepted – Queen Mary University of London I wasn't accepted in Imperial because I only applied with my IELTS Score and GPA from bachelor's. Students applying with a good GMAT/GRE score are always preferred and have a strong chance of getting an acceptance letter. Also, focus more on preparing a good Statement of Purpose and LOR. I chose QMUL over Rutgers because of the Global rankings and as QMUL was ranked in the top 150, I got a scholarship from the Govt of Rajasthan. (100% Tuition). My Eligibility- 1. IELTS Score - 7.5 2. Bachelor's GPA - 8.4/10 The overall admission experience was pretty good and flawless . It was an online application and everything was done efficiently and without any hindrance. I applied for the Fall 2022 intake . Mostly students apply for the fall intake because companies hire in Fall when they complete their degrees. I applied in February and received the admit within a month. I hadn't completed my Bachelor's at that time so the requirement was to complete my degree with atleast 7.0 GPA overall. I choose the UK because of its diversity and the degrees provided by this country are recognised worldwide. The Queen Mary University has a very good global ranking and the location is in Central london. I dreamt of staying in Central london and one of the reasons for choosing this university is its location. Queen Mary University also offers great career opportunities; they conduct job fairs and different seminars where they train us. Also help build the CV, prepare us for interviews, etc. My overall experience with this university was great. My college life was too good because of the helpful faculties, friends and the whole vibe of the university. From when I was little, it was my father's dream to send me to the UK. His words became my dream, and I was determined to go abroad for my higher studies. Queen Mary University is a part of the Russell Group and is ranked in the top 100 universities. It's also ranked in the top 10 universities in the United Kingdom. The research methods and course module planning are what most attracted me to it. The MSc Finance course that I chose is inclined more towards quants which can be interesting to people who are good at mathematics, logic, and trade markets. QMUL, being located in central London, is a plus. The Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, and Tower Bridge being minutes away from the university adds to the advantage. I am working as a student ambassador at QMUL . And as a student ambassador of QMUL, I can assure you of fun events all year long. I chose Queen Mary University of London because it provides one of the best course structures for Intellectual Property Rights and all the renowned professors taught in this university. I overall really liked my experience at this university, which was really great in terms of academics as LLM is more inclined towards academia and it fulfilled all the criteria of developing a deeper understanding of the subject and developing my own dissertation and also because all my professors were very helpful. I chose this particular program ( Intellectual Property Rights) because most of my interests have been carved around IPR through my internships and publications and I further want to pursue PhD in this subject thus I was inclined to choose this subject....Read More

I primarily chose Queen Mary University due to its research-oriented approach towards academics. I had an eagle eye on the curriculum for my specific course and the teaching methodology they employed. It is also a Russell group university which gives it prestige. I chose the UK as it is the best for my course- English Literature, specifically London, as it is the city for arts and writing. As mentioned, I chose this university because of the good feedback I received from the students and also because it was among the top-ranking universities in the UK. As a student, I can tell the reputation of Queen Mary was good and is well recognised as well among the people. There were a lot of courses in all the fields, and I chose an MSc In Management as it covered many different subjects. I can assure you the professors and the entire university are very welcoming, and you'll be happy when you graduate after a year. Transportation to the university is good, it's easy to reach and almost in the centre of the city so it is very accessible. They have career coaching and people who help with it, part-time and full-time as well, and I saw my friends finding jobs through it. I was a member of the student council, and we had several workshops every month. I would again highly recommend everyone to take part in the projects they have, as Queen Mary is well connected, and you get to experience some very amazing tasks/projects that most universities don't have access to in London....Read More

I applied to three universities - University College of London - Waitlisted  Queen Mary University of London - Accepted University of Bern, Switzerland - Accepted. I did not get any rejections, the reason I might have been waitlisted for UCL is probably because I did not have any industry experience or did not study a relevant course in my undergraduate. The reason I chose Queen Mary University of London was because it was situated in London, one of the power centres of the world. The diversity and the acceptance of London was unbeatable, also had an expectation of better support from the Indian diaspora in London. The application process consisted of submission of resume, SOP and a detailed application and also the eligibility criteria was a minimum score of 7.5 on IELTS. The admission was an easy process but the wait time was really high. There were totally 16 students in my course, as the course was very new and we were the first cohort at QMUL learning MSc AI in the biosciences. There were 3 Indian students including me and the rest consisted of European and British students. The classes started on 23rd September and the admission process took around 3 months. I applied for the course on March 15th and the decision for acceptance was on July. There were no interviews involved.  ...Read More
