Remarks
Best college for my area surrounding Ahmedabad for engineering degree. Management is little loose around strictness for the campus life. I love this college so much as If I'm going to do my masters I will do it from here if they offers which they currentl
Entrance Preview
I took no entrance exam as admission is based on 12th pass merit. I got 62% in science in PCM and based on that I got admission here. As it is near from where I live and I've talked to the former students for the experience they have there, I opt for this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
My college is a part of GTU (Gujarat Technological University). So the courses and curriculum are the ones selected by GTU. It's all goes perfect with the time limit allocated to particular course. All the faculties I studied with until now are all has well knowledge of there subject. They do have great skill to explain and make student understand the subject remarkable easy.
Internships Opportunities
I am currently in seventh semester and I got offered for internship in various IT sector companies. Yes we do have huge list of companies but that's only limited to IT and Computer Sector. So Mechanical and Civil students have to go out for the same. Companies come are offering 6500-9000 stipend per month which is average.
Placement Experience
About 40% of students in computer and IT are placed and like 25% of others with degree in Civil, Mechanical and Electronics are placed. They have packages of about 96000/- to 150000/- per annum. The companies came in my knowledge are 1) ETech Global Services, 2) Einstech Business Solutions Pvt. Ltd, 3) Prakshal Infotech 4) Iolite Softwares Pvt. Ltd, 5) eClinical Works etc.
College Events
We do celebrate lots of events and functions throughout the year. We do celebrate various days like signature day, tapori day, chocolate day, rose day etc. We have annual function with the budget of Rs. 1. 5 lacs which comes in February/March. We have events like Robotics, Adventure, Sherlockian and many many more added every year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is in my view a little expensive as a semester costs around 25k per six month and 2 lac for four year of degree. It is feasible in average cause all the 40 colleges in my state which are private like this does cost same. It's costly in comparison to government colleges which cost about 45k for four years of degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am not aware of any such scholarship or loan facility in my college. But I've heard of a small scholarship for the Quota people but not for financially weak students. So there is no meaning of scholarship as it is not for financially weak people. I've asked for loan facility to the management but they've denied any such facility.
Campus Life
My college has gender ratio of about 60:100 overall including mechanical. We do have lots of activities in my college as I've mentioned earlier. This activities are as best as they meant to be for sure. We do have 4 to 5 seminars in a semester as well as workshops for various activities and various fields apart from the subject. We have 75% of city students and remaining are from villages including 3% out of state students. All of them are economically different and are all of various religion including Jain, Swaminarayan, Momedian, Christian and Sikkh.
Hostel Facilities
My college does have the hostel for both boys and girls but are with lack of services and and with few seats. It doesn't have the nice canteen which require the most. PG's are in comparison best way to stay at with little more rent and good services. If y
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is all balanced with subject needs for the students. My college don't support ragging and in my 3 year past I or my mates have not experienced any such kind of activity in the campus. And ofcourse there are strict rules for any such kind of behaviour.
Exam Structure
We have state of the art lab facilities in our college. It's equiped with every instrument you need for the research and experiment. We do have 3 total exams in a semester with 1 main exam and 2 internal midsemester exams, and third exam after 2nd remedia
