Entrance Preview

I got admission in GVPCOE through EAMCET in 2007. I got 3700 rank and i have chosen Information technology for that rank . 80% of admissions are through EAMCAT and remaining 20% management Quota. I preferred GVP college as it is in the top 10 colleges in Andhra pradesh.

Internships Opportunities

For B.tech, no companies came for internship. For MCA students persistent systems came for intership and its a period of 3months for selected candidates and they offered 10k per month .

Placement Experience

Excellent Job opportunities are there in GVPCOE. Out of 450 passed out students in 2011 . 400 students were placed in various companies.Tata consultancy services (TCS) - 309 students - 3.26 Lac Per Annum, Wipro technologies - 110 students - 3.2 Lac P.ATech, Mahindra - 20 students - 3 Lac P.A, Persistent systems LTd - 10 students - 3.55Lac P.A .I got selected in Persistent systems Ltd and joined there.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For us its 30k per annum . But after its been Autonomous college its little bit expensive and its around 80k per annum for regular students who got admission through EAMCET.

Fees and Financial Aid

For out batch ,Student welfare scholarship refunds there for BC,SC and ST students for annual income of their parents should be less than 1lakh.

Alumni/Alumna

Our seniors are very helpful in every aspect. We have very good interaction with them . They helped a lot while doing mini and main projects and in campus recruitment .

Exam Structure

Exam structure was good. We have 2 semesters per year and its not very hectic but its bit chilled . Its having an organised structure .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The best and for some it could be worst part also , it doesn't matter whether you're a mechanical engineering student or EEE or CSE you should have to learn every single programming language from C to python including DSA and cloud computing which will help you to switch your career easily if you want. but however at the same time the mechanical students feel stressed alot. because they have to study their own field subjects which are not easy at the same time they have to clear the programming languages which are completely different from mechanical subjects

Placement Experience:

If I talk about my branch, as per my knowledge from 6th semester onwards the students can sit in the placement run. The college offers placement training with individual of expertise from that respective subject. Many top companies visit the campus to list out, AWS, INFOSYS, JMAN, TCS, IBM are some if them. More than 50 lakhs package is secured. The average lies around 4 to 5 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students getting placed varies from branch to branch and for some branches it's 100%, the average package for them would be 3 lakhs per annum, and the highest goes around 12 lakhs per annum. Students can apply off campus if they didn't get placed.

3rd year onwards you can apply for internships and placements too I suppose . Almost all of the students get placed but I'm not sure of the average package for now . Some companies that crosses my mind is PayPal, fidelity etc.
