College review

College infrastructure is very good, campus is luss green teachers are good only area of improvement is to increase quality placement specially in core branches. College campus have free WiFi facility.

Course is of 4year total of 200 credit each semester have 25 credit. There are eight semester for regular students and 6 semester for lateral entry students.There are two minor paper and one major paper. Minor are of 20 marks and 10 marks are assigned for attendance and assignment, 70 marks for major exams.

Placement in core branch are no so good. But placement in printing technology is said to be 100 percent.college provide in-house summer internship i have recently completed internship on automation and robotics funded by university under teqip.

University have been blessed with an state of art chaudhry ranbir singh auditorium which held functions periodically some of mega events are youth festival , cultural festival. Sports events , some events on independence day etc.

Fee of university is 55000 for one year which is feasible. For first semester you have to pay 30800 out if which 2000 is security amount. There is also a insurance of 300000 on just a premium of 160 rupees yearly.

I have not availed any scholarship because I belongs to other state. For other state students their are no scholarship. There are scholarship for sc, st , obc, tfw category students only.For sc st category student fee is 3200 yearly.

Extracurricular activities are organised by director of sports in sports. There is a big ground for cricket and football game. Two tennis courts, two indoor badminton court.one volleyball court,one handball court,one basket ball court seperate gym for boys and girls etc.

University is lacking in hostel room for boys because there are four hostel 3 of them have capacity of 350 but one with capacity of 180. All hostel are accomodating students more than their capacity.

Senior student are quite helpful, they are always ready to help. For alumni university organic alumni meet every year. Senior are friendly with their junior, they treat junior as their younger brother.

On the basis of rank of jee mains after going through counselling process. There are 3 normal counselling held by hstes on its official website from their according to seats branch are allocated rank wise.after normal counselling two physical counselling are held.

Faculty staffs are good in teaching skills. They are co-operative with students. 40 to 50 percent teachers having phd degree and some are percuing. Teaching skills are from average to good but not so good in some teaches.
