Remarks

College is good in the terms of facilities or motivation provided to enterprenaurs. Events are organised regularly in the campus. As all the students here are not much dedicated to studies in the first year so competitive study is not much. But if you want to study library and reading room in every old hostel is best place. And yes if you consistent and put little hard works with upgrading yourself you can get the placement.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Course is average as like we know study is not the key feature in college so study here for us is just to pass exams and if you want to do something extra then you have to it by your own yes college will help you for that with different facilities and programmes. Exams here are also average as the papers are set only by institution so the level is average. We have 3 exams in a semester mid semester test-1, mid semester test-2 and then finals.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements as i heard from seniors and read on campus advertisements are quite good infect our college is famous for computer science placements too. Semester exchange and semester abroad are the facilities provided by the college where in some cases you also get work permit to work in other countries with your studies. It almost charge between 2.5lac to 4 lac for one semester exchange with no work permit. Internships are available for mba students in walt disney. But for cse or other departments you have to go through with AIESEC.

College Events

4

We have many events in our college even the best part about our college is we have many celebrities as our guest in a single year. CU Fest is the key event for our college and alongwith it we have FOLKLORE EVENT in which we have guests from different countries who had comd to know our culture and visit our location.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is average. 2.5- 2.6 lacs with hostels per annum is the average fee for Computer science students. For us we have 80,200? as semester fee for one semester this means around 1.6 lacs per year as tution fee and hostels start from 75k per year according to your need, i.e., number of students in a room and duct room or ac room.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships here are provided to students based on their 12th percenrage if they are high or jee mains rank if it is good. And more of it, some scholarship is provided to students whose parents work in army section. And if you got higher cgpa in your studying year in college then you can get scholarship based on your cgpa but it must be above the mark decided by college.

Campus Life

4.5

Extracurricular activities scope is quite good because whatever events held in college are organised and managed by students so you have a option to join with it and have experience of it. Labs and libraries are presented in campus with all possible facilities a student need. we dont have 24*7 library but central libraray is opened upto 10:00 pm. For entrepreneurs our college provide all the possible support to them. Private offices with equipments and incubators are provided to them who works on tgeir project without any rents or charges in building years. So thats the best part if you are planning to be an entrepreneur.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostels are good rooms are of average size. We have been provided with one bed, one almirah and one table. Individual lan port is given to us for internet facilities. In new hostels there are 4 LAN ports among 5 students. Mess food is average as no one loves mess food. you just have to eat it to survive.

Alumni/Alumna

We don't have much contact with senior students. As i am hosteler so we can meet them and discuss anythin which i want. They are open and helpful. Anti ragging is strictly followed in our college so no one xan try ragging in yhe college not even in hostels too.

Admission

My friend told me about this college and when i heard i know about it little and heard that name before. Then i checked it on google and i liked it then i called in college and asked about seats in the college and i got few seats left so i visited college and took admission.

Faculty

3

Faculties are ok they are from either privates colleges from north like thapar college or pec and had their degrees in respective courses. Few are from nits and iits too but not core iits as far as i know about the teachers.

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.
