Remarks

AIMA is official organising and promoting body of many activities related to the promotion of business culture and promotion of entrepreneurship in India giving a boost to startup culture in India. Last event I attended was creating an Innovative India. Many other guest lectures, symposiums, gathering are organised for additional benefit of the students.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum was very thorough and informative. We learned a lot from the course curriculum and practical insights of the faculty. We received certifications after completion of every module/semester. I opted for the finance specialisation since it was my major during my graduation.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee for my PGDM program was pretty nominal. It was around 31k per semester which was very affordable for me. This fee included all academic charges, online course content, study material, digital library, amongst other facilities provided by the institute. Only the examination fee was separate.

Campus Life

The infrastructure was very good with big classrooms, a nice library with a huge collection of books etc. The labs and classrooms were very good, but the canteen was very small and only limited snacks were available there. I never faced any infrastructural issues during my tenure.

Hostel Facilities

There is no hostel facility available for students. Students have to make their own arrangements.

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Alumni/Alumna

AIMA provides an awesome platform to pursue certification for the students who can’t give a dedicated time to the course, especially working professionals like me. It was heavyweight course which enabled me not only to sustain but upscale my business.

Admission

Admission is on the basis of management level entrance exam. I applied with my CAT scores and was lucky enough to get through. I got a call from the college for the interview round which I cleared pretty easily.

Faculty

Faculty at AIMA is selected with a high emphasis on capability of practical teaching. All of our faculty members were pretty qualified and has relevant experience in their specialisation. They were very supportive throughout the course. We shared a very good bond with them and they helped us not only academically but guiding our career in the right direction

The Real Unbiased Truth of JIMS Kalkaji

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are average when compared with other B-schools of similar level. The companies which have visited so far for internships are mostly start ups like Wealth Blue and Outlook, but some other companies like ITC, Bajaj Capital and Coca Cola moon beverages have also come on campus. The highest stipend promised so far is 15,000 for 3 months or 10,000 per month for 2 months. A lot of students are yet to be placed, both for final and summer placements. My plan is also to get a job post my PGDM.

Compass provide a place the highest package our were born is 20 lakhs per annum from the Fite department and the average placement gets around 8 to 10 laks and the minimal is7-8 lakhs. The placement is good in sales and finance department. Most of the companies comes for sales and Management. You can also offer for the finance.

The course curriculum is mostly aligned towards Economics but you don't need to have prior experience in the field, you can start afresh and still excel. I picked this course specifically for the Analytics part of it.

Good opportunity in JIMS

Placement Experience:

From 4th trimester onwards that if from August onwards after coming back from 3 months summer internships, companies come for placements and students can apply to the companies. The companies that visited campus are DELOITTE, KPMG, ACCENTURE,TCS, RANDSTAD,ICICI,SBI, MOTILAL OSWAL, BAJAJ, ASIAN PAINTS, ADITYA BIRLA, BLACKROCK, GRIDLINES etc. and many more. The highest package of our batch went for 24 lakhs( Oman based company) , average went around- 7-8 lakhs , lowest - 4.5-5 lakhs. Profiles offered- Sales head, operational manager, Deputy branch manager, Junior Analyst, Analyst, HR - talent acquisition team , underwriting team etc. Right now more than 80% of students have gotten placed and rest are in the placement process which will be till April. I have been placed in ICICI LOMBARD for Underwriting and Claims process and will be joining the company soon.

Placement Experience:

The unique selling point of this college would be placement. Big companies come here for hiring and take a bunch if students among them, the students who have completed their first year are eligible to sit in placement Companies like Delloite, Black Rock, loreal, Federal Bank, MRF, and many more visit every year for placement with an average package of 8 to 9 lakhs. The highest package one student got is 33 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placed is 80-100 percent, depending on the time. My plans after my degree are the same as many students to get placed in a good company with a good package

Almost every college student is placed, and everyone is getting the corporate internship program with Social Internship Program and live projects for the all-round development. The package this year was around 5.5 lakh on average.
