My college experience over there is very smooth. I enjoyed my each and every day over there. Just a wrost day over there is paying clearance b'coz there is no proper system for that. Canteen is also a good place b'coz you can use mobile only over there
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is well and fine. You have to attend 75% of lectures. There are so many activites beyond the educational classes. You can go for quiz, debates like competition or you go for physical activities like dance, acting etc. All the teachers are well qualified. Exam structure is almost for every course is semester wise.
Placement Experience
Yes our college provide job opportunity to the final year students of all the department. Some of private sector companies came to college in the month of April for interview. On the other hand masters are came to college to guide the students for future plans.
College Events
Fresher, Teej, Diwali, Rangoli competition, Cultural competition, Arts and crafts competition, Debates, Quiz, Every department has its opening and closing ceremony Dance competition, Youth fest, Singing competition, Environment day, Farewell.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As it is a government college. Fee of each and every course is less than reasonable. You have just to scored good in your 12th so you can enroll in government college for girls (Ludhiana). Fee is affordable for all the students.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are 10-12 scholarship scheme for in every stream. SC and ST students can apply for post matrix scholarship. Other students can apply for other scholarship scheme. In our college, there is a old students association who gave two to three students scholarship every year. So any needy student can seek scholarship for the college.
Campus Life
There are much more extracurricular activities that makes the students mentality healthy and happy. Quiz and debates would run in every department with on going course on a particular day. Sports meet every year celebrated for a couple of days. Parade, athlete events like race, long jump, discuss throw , lemon and spoon race, soil pots race etc
Alumni/Alumna
Old students association is set up by college alumni. They help needy students by financial help. Every year they are invited to college fest to guide and inspire the upcoming alumni of college. They share their experience with the students.
Admission
It's simple to get admission in GCG if you scored good in ur 12th examination. Admission is based on merit list process.once merit list came out you have to go once for documents verification just after that you can pay the fees. Fees paying mode is online. You should carry a debit or credit card for the purpose. After the fees payment your admission is done.
Faculty
College faculty is appropriate according to their subjects and duties. Some times its worst when its came to pay the clearance balance there is no proper system for it. You have to stand in lines for it and it have paid in offline mode. There is no Other way
