Course Curriculum Overview
If I have to say specific aspects. Then I would say the way they add subjects in your course curriculum is very relevant and goes smoothly and the student is able to understand easily and accordingly. The faculties prepares you very well for the real word problem by group activities and discussion. Also by sharing their experiences. No improvement needed as of now. They conduct two exams evry semester which is mid terms and semester exams.
Internships Opportunities
They had companies like HAL, GAIL, L&T, TATA, etc for placement . For internship they have Mou signed with number of institutions like MEA and government houses. The role you get is usually a intern and you do reasearch, report writing, some field experience, etc in internships.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for campus placement on the last semester of their course. Many defence related companies visited campus for placement. Any how if you dont get placed they teach you well enough to crack some civil exams. As so would I be planning to prepare for civil service exams.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees system here is semester wise which every 6 months. The tution fees you pay for a semester is 60000. And 100000 (1 lac) yearly. They have caution money of 10000. And a registration fees of 500. No fees difference for any caste category. The university does provide a scholarship program under the National Scholarship Program (NSP). For the caste category.
Campus Life
They have number of fests and programs all over the year as there are many departments. Something is always going on there in university. They have a very well established library with our 1000 books and journals available to students which they can get issued on their ID. The university also focuses on sports. Number of sports are played in university and you can choose any sport to play and also you can represent yourself nationalnaly from here. Many student led clubs like cooking, dancing, singing, event, poetry etc are there on campus. Making a students stress full study routine feel less burden.
Hostel Facilities
4 students stay in one room. Each of the room in the hostel is equipped with study lamps, study table, locker, bed, matress, cupboard, show rack, etc for each student which 4 in every room. The hostel itself is well maintained every day cleaning is done. Well maintained and hygiene hostel, corridor, washrooms, etc. The university has a very big mess which can easily feed 100-150 students at a time. The meal quality is decent sometimes they give a special menu and a sweet once in every week. The registration process for the hostle is usually smooth but the affordablity is a bit high but looking at the way they maintain and the facilities they give the fees is acceptable.
Admission
I choose this university as it solely focuses on defence and security which also goes with my course. I had also applied for other colleges like jindal and DU but the exposure this university has is very immense. The eligibility for the admission is solely based on the exam which the university conducts. The university conducts rcet for their admission process.
Faculty
The average size of a batch is usually around 20-40 students. And almost each department here has a dedicated teaching team of 20-30 professionals. So as of my experience and what I saw they have 1 faculty on every 5 students which is (1:5). I don't think revealing faculty names is a good idea. The curriculum is well researched and relevant with the course you study.
Interview Experience
For the admission process they only accept the RCET which their on entrance exam. The exam registration and mode is totally online. You just have to prepare basic general knowledge and current affairs I would say for the entrance test.
Night Life
The university has a good gym with a personal trainer if you want. A good library as mentioned earlier. Most of the public spaces are closed from 12 to 6 in the night. They have strict in and out timings for the hostel students. Number of cafe and small eateries are there in campus which are open late night
