Course Curriculum Overview

5

Course curriculum is very good with subjects like cancer biology, genetic engineering that has enhanced my aspirations for my future studies. I had taken mathmenatics as my add on subject during few semesters and it has also helped me ace competitive exams. Frequency of exams is every semester, with internal exams every month. Internal exams help establish a continous learnign aspect.

Internships Opportunities

5

Biocon, RGCB, Biozeen etc are few of the many students in Biotech got to intern at. Variour projects can be done and professors help figure out all ideas. I got the oppotunity to do my final semester project at a central government institute and it was a great experience for me.

Placement Experience

5

Placements start from third year of college. The college gives opporutnites for internships through IAESTE and professors personally take out their time to procide internship opportunities. Almost hundred perecentrage placements were offered in my batch and I had recieved 3 opportunities.

Fees and Financial Aid

I had paid almost 1,20,000 every semester for both my course and hostel. I had a scholarship of 20,000 every semester as I had maintained my 12th percentage throughout college. NRI students have to pay higher fees comparitiviely and the college gives you scholarships ig yoour cgpa is great. Scholarships are purely academic based.

Campus Life

5

Mindkraft and Megaplay are the two biggest events that take place in the campus. One is a technical masterpiece and the other is a cultural fiesta. The library is huge and has books across all topics. Preparation books for entrace exams are also there an dit is full air conditioned and is three floors. Classrooms have smartbboards and are well lit and ventilated. Sports events are present and hostels have basketball courts, gyms etc. Many clubs are present and there are days dedicated to club activities alone.

Hostel Facilities

5

Rooms vary from 6 sharing to single rooms. The mess menu is vibrant and non-veg options are there almost every dya., Hostel registration is easy and affordable and there are AC options as well. However, PG facilities are not present.

Admission

The proximity of the college to my state and the ease of travel was way simplified for me. College is very safe and secure especially for girls. Fee structure is affordable with a wide variety of courses to choose from. Admission process of the college is through an entrance exam that has to be tackled and with regular practice is easy. Admission process is very smooth and swift with all heads of departments actively invloving in the procedure.

Faculty

5

Faculty members are very helpful, they clear all your doubts and help in securing internships. Mr. Jibu Thomas was the hod and he had organized various events both academic and cultural. Faculty to student ratio was on point with great numbers of assisstant professors and phd students.

Night Life

5

Gym, cafeterias are present in all hostels. You are given the flexibility to order food from outside as well. Study hours are present everyday to ensure continuous learning opportunities. Famous hangout spots in hostel include the garden near the suhpermarket. However since the campus is close to forest area, it is not safe to roam at night.

The placement and the package in this current year is less when compared to previous years. This is due to the more admissions in computer science field and more employees are there.the highest package is 12L/yr . 18% of students will get placed. My plan is to start private construction agency.

There is no good roads to our college. As there is a good and excellent hostel mess with sufficient seating arrangement. There is bus service to each and every corner. As the drawbacks are there no separate playground for cricket and hockey.
