Entrance Preview

I took admission in hindustan college of science and technology by securing the 20000 rank in UPTU exam. They noticed my academics and took interview individually from the basics of science and maths. The all faculties were very cooperative during the test and interview. It was a great experience. According to my rank in UPTU i cannot get better government college than this so i locked my choice to Hindustan college of science and technology.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

In the college i took Computer science branch as my subjects and my interest in computers and technology. The course curriculum and faculty were great. It was a semester system having 2 semesters per year. The each semester has 2 sessional exam out of which best one is added. Each semester exam is conducted within gap of a week i. e. monday to monday. During exams extra classes are given for improvement.

Internships Opportunities

Some links are provided through college training and placement department in companies like TCS, HCL, wipro, syco infotech, etc which helps in various training programs. There was a stipend of 6000 on internship training at wipro which i joined during my final year and got learned various technlogies and working environment. Also the best part was that everyone there was cooperative and helpful.

Placement Experience

4.5

The best part of my college is that it provides great opportunities to the students to get placed in a reputed companies. In the college campus during placement drive many companies like TCS, WIPRO, MICROSOFT, HCL, DELL, INFOSYS, etc came and selected many students mainly from CS, EE and EC branch. I particularly attended the TCS placement drive in which i got selected then there was interview round in which i again qualified. TCS gave the package of 1. 25 Lakh per annum and in our college it selected 100 students during the session. Other companies Wipro gave 1. 15 Lakh per annum package and took 15 students from CS branch only.

College Events

4

The college organizes fresher party for the welcome of first year students and selects the miss and mr fresher from them. This includes so much enthusiasm. This happens in the college auditorium. Another event for different competition activities is organised in which painting, GK competitition, dance competition, singing, logo design, food stalls, craft design, etc competitions are organised which is very interesting to watch and enjoy. Another event sports day is organised in which various games like hockey football, baseball and some indoor games like carrom, chess are played and the winning team gets medals and cups.

Fee Structure And Facilities

There is a fees of 2 lakh every year which is not possible for everyone to pay but there is another option of paying it in pieces of one fourth within a year. This includes the tution fees, library fees, practical fees, lab fees, exam fees, medical fees and dress fees. The other fees which are not included in this are hostel fees which is 70000 and mess food which is 15000 for 6 months only. So overall it is very costly to study there. And not feasible for a middle class men.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are provided to SC students from samaj kalyan vibhag uttar pradesh government to the students whose family income is less than 2lakh per annum. Also there is loan facility for everyone and if anyone applies to loan he must himself fulfill all the formalities for the same. This requires educational loan so it is easily refunded by the candidate in future.

Campus Life

4

The life there was very enjoyable plus competitive and also nice curriculum which really generates enthusiasm between students. During my time workshops were organised in jaipur during my final year which is of cloud computing and how to use this and its features we learnt there. Various debates competition were held in the campus. The gender ratio is about 10 lady faculty per 11gents faculty. And in students in my class there were 20 girls and 30 boys. No politics is seen here. We had our trip to manali in 2015 final year of mine that was quite remembering and we enjoyed a lot there.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostel conditions are very impressive, there is good cleanliness ij bathrooms, and living area is well maintained. To every 2 students one room is allotted with nice outlook and corridor. The hostel seats are enough for students. The another option fo

Alumni/Alumna

Every year the alumni meet is organised there which is very much interesting. They share there working ecperience and how they got placed doing job all were very helpful to the juniors. I have my contact with prabhakar sir alumni of college 2013 passout said that he had selected in infosys and shared his experience. There is a good contact and network between juniors and seniors.

Exam Structure

The exams are very frequently organised and sometimes it really becomes hectic because of 2 exams in a day which made difficult to cover a single paper. Each monday came with an exam day. Also during the final UPTU exams the center is so far so that it be

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, look at everything from another perspective, as if all courses are right for the course you want to pursue. It's up to you to understand what you need to understand. But I did my B.Tech, and I already had an interest in engineering, so I decided to pursue the course that was right for me. All the courses there are well-conducted, well-taught, and placements are 100% guaranteed. If the student does well, learns well, and interviews well, they'll be rewarded.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are various aspects of the curriculum which are compelling such as practical learning there's a lot of focus emphasized on practical learning such as the workshops, graphic designing and various science labs which encourage the students to learn with more interest. There are some areas for improvement like the time is bit too much from 9 to 5 they could reduce a bit of time and give students some time for there self studies as there are a lot of lectures in the academic time table which are free so those periods could be reduced and students could be let free a bit earlier.the exams are taken on regular intervals there are 3 assignment tests in a semester 1 class test which is very crucial as it determines the internal marks of the students and then at last there's a pre university which is a type of a mock test to prepare the students for semester exams and there's also an online test(olt) conducted every Friday in labs, the difficulty level of these exams is pretty reasonable which prepares the students for there various exams and competitions.
