Remarks
If one is planning to crack the national level exams like net/gate/jest tifr then I suggest one should not join this institution as it has very less subject on pure science. Besides this one need to work on own to crack this exams
Course Curriculum Overview
For 1st year in course there is mix course of pure and applied physics like classical, Mathematical Physics, Quantum mechanics which is pure Physics and you will have practicals too and for the 2 year you mainly have applied subject like physical technique in industry ,Non destructive testing ,optical dielectric magnetic property , Electronics plus the practicals and lab visits. In last sem one need to take project. But if you want to for NET exam than one must not take admission in this department for that go for Science faculty.
Placement Experience
There will be no placements in College and for the inteship part one need to apply to different institutions.Besides these one can carry on there project work after completion of Msc and do the further research.After Msc one can go for NET/GATE/SET exams and also one can opt for B.ed and one can aslo teach in various institutes.
College Events
There are various events celebrated in college. Garba night in various branch of college. There will be 3 days celebration during valentine week. There are also some national level events like Prena. Uttarayan celebration. In short you will have lot of events during curriculum.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees during Msc is nominal it will be around 10000 per year but to live near the campus can cost you about 5000 to 7000.The fees in MSU is not that much for the Msc and Bsc also so there is no need to worry about it
Fees and Financial Aid
I don't know about it but yeah one can ofcourse get schlorship after passing various exams like NET/GATE. There is also schlorship available if one can opt for phD by the state govt. Besides these one need to talk to professors as they know more about it.
Campus Life
Labs are good they are well equipped with the various instruments There are various activities that are regularly going on and off the campus it really depends on one interest like cricket,football,gym, swimming, badminton they are all supported by the University
Admission
One need to apply online for the application process and need to pay fees online/offline mode.After that there will be an offline examination in the applied physics department itself after few days of application.Questions in exams are from Bsc course and are quite easy one need to have moderate level of understanding and you can get through exam.After that on basis of performance in exam you will be given admission
Faculty
Mostly the faculty are good and cooperative.All faculty members are well qualified and hold PhD in there subjects and most of them have good command on subject.They also do the research work in there lab in department itself
