Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is according to the course and we have to learn all the things with this . The labs are outdated according to the curriculum so we have to manage this in our college and lab assistant are not good

There are many internship opportunities in our college they give us internship in railways and also give stipend to this according to their skills and cgpa they give us opportunity to work in good companies

Placement Experience

The placement of our college is not that good we have to prepare for off campus placement for which we have to determine hard work and study hard for it the students get psu jobs from our college to get jobs

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fees-75000 Total fees - 137500 Caution fees-5000 Registration fees-2500 Lab fees-2000 Admission fees-50000 The Fee is same for everyone SC,ST and general category We can only get scholarship of amount rs 50000 irrespective of the caste

Campus Life

The campus life is average. There are various technical first that are held in the campus for example Tech Srijan, Abhyudaya, Electra. There is a big library which also has AC rooms and is equipped with digital library. There are various clubs and student societies which help in overall development.

Hostel Facilities

There are 2 and 3 seater room provided in hostel as per availability, mess meal is average. The mess fees is 36000 and hostel fees is 30000. There are various PG and room available outside the campus.

Hostel Fee: INR 66000 per year

Admission

Before coming to this college I registered in aktu counseling and I get cse in private colleges but I do not choose that and come in this college for government tag and this college is good for core subjects

Faculty

The faculty is good in this college and we have two types of exams midsem and end sem in this we have to pass both the exams to pass the subject or otherwise we will get back in the subject and have to maintain attendance

Night Life

The college has a gym ,cafeteria and a library. It also has an SBI ATM inside the campus. Some famous places to hangout are Nauka Vihar, Gorakhnath,etc. The college is open till 10 pm in night from second year

BUILDING MY CAREER AT SHRI RAMSWAROOP MEMORIAL UNIVERSITY.

Placement Experience:

Student generally become aligible for campus drives from the 7th semester or 5th semester. To sit for the best companies you usually need no active backlogs and a minimum CGPA of 7.0 or above.Some top-tier companies strictly ask for 80% throughout.SRMU sees a mix of MASS RECRUITERS AND CORE companies like AMAZON, IBM, TCS, WIPRO, CAPGEMINI, ADANI GROUP, HCL AND COGNIZANT are regulars. We also see companies like SAP AND TATA STEEL for specific roles. Here AVARAGE PACKAGE is around 4.5 LPA TO 5 LPA and HIGHEST PACKAGE 30 LPA. Percentage for getting placement is 80% to 90%.My plans after getting degree is to secure a placment in a CMM level 5 company like TCS or ACCENTURE through a company drive to get that initial brand name on my resume.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since i am pursuing civil engineering, the curriculum covers all core civil engineering subjects such as. • Engineering Mathematics, strength of materials, structural analysis, geotechnical engineering, Transportation engineering , environmental engineering.. The course prepares us for higher education and government examination but real world exposure is limited like site visits and practical trainings are few and not well planned. Mot students aim for cracking government services.. Areas of improvement could be syllabus to include latest construction practice, to increase industry oriented projects, more industrial visits, modernizing the lab and newer teaching methods.. The exams are conducted twice each semester one mid semester and one end semester, exam levels are Moderate and questions are generally theory based, students who follow class notes and previous year question paper and easily clear the examinations...

Placement Experience:

The placement of this college is average as that of Tier - 3 college. The students of 7th semester are eligible to take place in placement. There were many companies - JP tyres, TCS , JSW steel ,L and T , Mahindra tech . There was 1000 offers for 900 students including the mass recruiters. Highest pakage on campus was 12 lpa Average pakage is 5 Lpa 80% students are placed. My future plans are taking a job after degree.

The curriculum is good. Their are alot of good elective subjects in the college. The frequency of the classes is high, 6 days a week and 9am to 5pm is timings but periods vary day to day. Areas of improvement could be giving lesser assignments.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There is a specific dress code applicable for all. The campus is not very big though.the fields where college is lacking is Smart classes.The college stictly considers Aktu guidelines and thus regular zonals are conducted as per the Aktu curriculum.

I applied to aktu councelling and i was getting all of those colleges and all the subjects, i chose this college because it is not affiliated to AKTU and also MMMUT is a state government college with a well established civil engineering department... Yes i did get rejection from IITs and NITs because of my low jee mains rank In order to get Admission in our college one has to fill the admission form which are generally released after the jee mains examination, one needs to have a jee mains rank of the current year to get admission in the college, generally one needs to have a rank of 60000 to get Admission in this college in CSE branch and around 1.2 lakh for civil engineering branch......Read More

I applied for Aktu colleges whose councelling was too late and I also applied for the Madan Mohan Malviya University of Technology. In which I got selected in the second round for the branch i filled as a top priority. To take admission you must do a separate councelling of MMMUT . Registration fees for this councelling is 2500 .
